It's funny you mention that.

I'm all for streamlining, I have never understood why some games think having a bunch of LI is a plus, all it ever does is blot development time and leave us with a bunch of un fleshed out characters who are pretty much just sex dolls. I would much rather have a smaller cast of interesting characters.
With that said I would hardly put your game amongst these currently as you haven't introduced a bunch of meaningless characters but it is still something to keep in mind

There is a freeze on new characters. I feel like I need to service the characters I already have.

If I had to do it over, I wouldn't bother with Lucy, Esmeralda, Jasmine or Andrea and I would have just started with a game about Meredith and the two aunts.

I don't know, I think you made the right choice, though it does mean dev-time will be a lot longer. I guess it helps that you write interesting characters

Well I don't agree with negative review.
But it would be great if there was a way to play this on Android.

Since it's made on Unity, the devs would have to make a completely separate version for Android with its own set of bugs to iron out. Let's not expect them to manage two builds right now

There are three problems I've encountered trying to get this game to run on Android:

• Unity will let me build an APK file, but when I try to run it in Android studio, it just gets stuck on a blank, gray screen. The 5ive of a Kind icon (the disk) does show up. I don't know why it won't run and I'm not technical enough to figure out why. Let's say I spent two weeks trying to figure out what's wrong. I could have spent that time drawing and jiggling huge tits
• The game's user interface wasn't designed to run with touch screens in mind. I would bet a lot of money that if I were to get the game to run on Android, basic mechanics would fail. The most likely problem I imagine would arise almost immediately would be that many hotspots throughout the game would be too small to click on with your finger even on larger tablets or somehow the double click to run mechanic doesn't work is is perceived as clunky and I just get negative reviews from players who think the interface is ass.
• Because I typically do my own testing, the Android version would need to be tested and it would likely produce its own set of bugs unique to that platform. Instead of getting negative reviews for not having an Android version at all, I'd just get negative reviews from having a buggy piece of crap version of the game that is provided on an "as-is" basis.

I don't disagree. It's been many months since the last update and this update has been a particularly difficult one. I had hoped it would be out by the end of the month, but it's not ready yet. Soon(ish).

What about a linux export? Though so far the game runs decently in proton to be fair.

I am going to attempt making 64-bit Linux version starting with v0.5.

Unfortunately, Meredith isn't getting much at all in v0.5. It's almost entirely a Brooke & Jasmine update with one quest for Aunt Irene.

I'm sure that will disappoint the Meredith-only fans (of which there are many) but I have a lot of characters that have been mostly ignored and I either need to do something with them or get rid of them. The update AFTER this one (v0.6) will focus entirely on Meredith.

should have bee like this the whole time, its pretty obvious people play the game for Meredith, she should always be the main character, i see it as other character development is simply the Dev dragging out the game process by padding it with crap.
