v0.3.0.1 Public:
This is a refreshing riff on a tried and true smut game premise.
Suburban family. Young, inoffensively attractive but unsensational everyman protagonist who has a big dick. A milf mother figure (explicit in this game) and a younger sister-figure, a randy auntie and cousin, and several side sexy side characters. Mother is matronly and doting, sister is a jerk. Father figure is absent. You do nice things for Mother and Sister, and the porn conceit in the genre means the simmering horniness present in every character boils over. The mother is actually refreshingly sexually candid, which is a nice change of pace from many incest type games that has the mother go from a normal person ( that is to say, repelled by incest) to hungry for her son's dick over the course of a couple in-game weeks. Her idea of a well-adjusted son is to be dicking down every piece of tail that crosses his path, so she gets involved to steer him down that route. It's a porn game, so this seems more earnest.
The game is as advertised, a point-and-click adventure porn game. It stands out as a better example of this sub genre by its writing and its setting, which it leans into. It takes place in the late 80s, as evidenced by the era accurate technology, like the DOS computer the MC uses, and every phone being a landline.
Since this update, the movement speed has been increased (just like I asked, hurray!), but I wish there was a more obvious tip that you can double click somewhere to hurry it up. If it was indicated, I missed it. I'm an average goober though, so a little help there would be nice. Additionally, other technical things that need to be addressed: some of the quests can happen out of logical order, and skipping text would be nice (a compromise is that it could be repeated text, I hate haven't to click through a conversation I went through already if I clicked the wrong option or was experimenting with trial and error). Another must have that's generally a standard feature is being able to "fast travel" between common locations. I should be able to head back to my room whenever, because so much of the game happens there, and I end up spending too much time simply clicking through rooms to arrive. Going to the overworld map from your bedroom would be really nice too. Just small, quality-of-life conveniences would be great.
The renderings are very good and consistent (beside the MC's sleeping pose, which is rudimentary). What could improve it is more facial expressions that match what's happening. Basic ones you see in the more fully realized versions of this kind of game. Neutral, angry, surprised, flirty, and other basics would coverd a lot of bases and round things out.
The main gameplay loop is your typical point-and-click fare, which is fine, because Jorogr doesn't fall into the traps of old school adventure games. His puzzles are generally logical. Another thing that this dev did that he should get a medal for was listen to the little bit of feedback and let you know to keep clicking, just like I hoped and asked for.
For the most part, this game just needs those little quality of life refinements, quest-progression fixes, and it'd be gold. Looking forward to more content.
