I assume it's a "no" from everything you've put in the game so far, but is there any chance you'll add some noncon/dubcon/unethical stuff in the future? Like jerking off/playing with them as they sleep, or playing out a bad end choice like losing control and putting it in Meredith in the shower, then resetting to the last choice like you do now so it technically never happened? Maybe as bonus content after everything is done?
Also, any thought on having some wardrobe malfunction fun, or maybe some orientation play with a lesbian considering MC is packing major heat? Last one is pretty niche but wanted to ask. lol

Cool, An actual game! I like how it feels like an authentic p&c adventure game from the early 90s with the only caveat being too much clicking due to the text heavy nature of the game which is very unlike a classic pnc game but I guess it is to be expected. I like all the nods to the era, I know that's a Ladyhawk poster cause that's one of my favorite movies . The overall art and presentation is pretty lovely. The gameplay layer is done well but can lead to some inconveniences due to the amount of back and forth (I swear I'll elaborate more as I get more into the game).
The scenario is hot and hope to see more in the future, especially more of Meredith and preferably in better sex poses with hotter camera angles. The one vaginal scene with her kinda felt a bit lackluster specially because of the boring angle but I hope there's more to her story so it won't matter inevitably in a sea of more Meredith content.

Its porn games. You might say that they need every ounce of gameplay they still have. I would say, 1 ounce doesn't make a difference.
Besides, most people play these games every once in a while instead of playing regularly. So a lost save is not uncommon. Neither is "I remember this part, I don't remember this. This is new. This, I think, is new..."
Ren'py is practically ideal for someone like that.

Skipping is a personal choice, engine preference has nothing to do with it and there are actually tons of decent AVNs and hybrid games made using Renpy. If a user gets impatient and skips then it says a lot about the writer's ability to write an enticing story than anything, at least 90% of the time.
Also renpy as an engine is not only convenient but also pretty versatile for these kinds of projects compared to Unity which has a tendency to shit the bed and hog resources (which doesn't help given the fact that 99% of eroge players/readers play on potatos), not to mention most AVNs and games of similar nature made on Unity don't even include convenience features like auto read, text box opacity, text speed etc most of the time leading to massive played inconvenience.

Thank you for the kind words! The game does establish a pro consent tone, but where the line is drawn may seem arbitrary. For example, the game does allow MC to spy on his mom and aunt, read mom's diary, and jerk off into mom's panties, but won't let you fool around with sleeping characters. The game will give you a few seconds of ignoring Meredith's boundary, slipping his Johnson inside her before slapping you with a Sierra-style death screen (although closing that screen will just push you back a few seconds, so you don't have to restore, thankfully).
I don't want the game to beat anyone over the head with the pro-consent stuff. A recent reviewer said something along the lines of "Okay okay I get it. The game is pro-consent, but you don't need the game to tell me I'm a piece of shit for clicking on the jizz action on a sleeping character that the game provided." Fair enough. If there's any language that's overly preachy like that I will tone it down if I find it/know about it.
I'm a big fan of wardrobe malfunction fun. The first animation I ever did was Meredith's shirt popping open during an (awkwardly-placed) haircutting scene.
The UK flag on MC's wall is there as a subliminal nod to Ferris Bueller's bedroom. The game takes place in the Northeast US.
I'll just combine these two posts and reply to both of them since they touch on a similar topic. The vaginal sex scene IS canon, but it's not the first time they will do it and certainly won't be the only position/location.Wait is that really gonna be the extent of Meredith's story? I sure hope not
We are probably about 65% of the way through Meredith's story, at least leading up to vaginal sex. On the way there, there are a few more set pieces and challenges MC has to go through to get to where he wants to be. After vaginal sex, opportunities for expansion include different positions, locations, outfits, alternate acts (anal), opening up threesomes, etc.

Dude! I've watched Ladyhawke approximately a zillion times and I even dig the soundtrack lol. With that and the aforementioned reference to Ferris Bueller, that's two of the three references to 80's Matthew Broderick movies hidden in MC's bedroom. The other being the entire sequence where MC hacks into the school computer to fix a cute girl's grades (WarGames 1981).I like all the nods to the era, I know that's a Ladyhawk poster cause that's one of my favorite movies

Thank you for the reply! Indeed, like the other poster I ran into basically all of the pro consent messages as I played the game. That's why I wondered if you might add the scene as bonus scenes perhaps, or if that was out of the question? You never answered that, so just wanting to know for sure. I do have to admit, getting the pro consent messages after seeming like I was going to be able to do a lewd action was pretty disappointing.
Another idea that came to mind, considering the whole always present button to summon Nicole, is having scenes/being able to flash the girls.

That said, if selecting that option is only going to serve a "we don't serve your kind here" message, maybe don't have it as an option in the first place. UNLESS it IS going to lead somewhere down the line (like maybe MC surreptitiously spanks one out while standing behind Meredith/Mom, oogling her jubblies, and there's a 'chance meter' as to whether he gets caught, and there are random consequences for getting caught depending on story progress - maybe Mom scolds him, maybe Mom blows him, who can say; maybe Sis catches them both and takes pity on her little Bro in his advances state of blue ballsedness; and so on). But having a big old splooge icon in the menu now feels a little odd imho.

Surprise fucking and the like probably has its place but it's such a tricky line. Summertime Saga got a Jenny scene pulled and reworked when he basically night groped her and rabbit fucked her, though it becomes consentual mid-scene (and again, has been reworked so you can't see it anymore except probably on a pornhub vid or something). Things more like where things are sexual in the relationship already but one's slightly less receptive at the moment the scene's happening are pretty hot to me, that's like an IRL situation that can happen.
I've also played games where there are surprise jizz scenes while the relationships are progressing. IE someone getting caught in a fence and the MC cumming on her while trying to push her out. The tone's very campy and porn-unrealistic though, which is fine though I'm not quite sure that's where Five of a Kind's tone lies, Five of a Kind seems a lot more grounded and sensual.
Things like full on "forcing" or doing stuff to people sleeping or getting "the shower scene" earlier than you should, probably too much for a game to introduce mid-production. You kind of have to know what you're getting into already, lest you lose or piss off your audience.

What? Either you've found a bug or you're running into the unintuitive way the Spank Bank works. The Spank Bank has 12 visible slots and currently there are around 14(?) Spank Bank scenes possible. The scroll buttons don't scroll by full pages but scroll just enough all the scenes. In other words you might (reasonably) expect that hitting the Next button will show you just two available scenes (14-12) and the rest of the slots blank.
It's on the todo list to address this and I'm probably going to organize the Spank Bank by character at some point, maybe soon.
This is also on the wish list to let this action be usable in more select places, usually for humorous outcomes. It's rarely going to result in something good happening. In the current game, there's an easter egg where you can use it in the front yard for a humorous death scene, so this is kind of established.
This is an excellent point. I think when I put those in, I was trying to let the player know up front what the game ethics were and not necessarily trying to call them a piece of shit. I'll look into removing some of those.
Right now, none. There is a plan for them for Aunt Charlotte later on for a quest whose title happens to be "Something Wicked This Way Cums."
Because Offenses/Demerits have caused so much confusion and distress, I'm planning on hiding the Offenses button unless you're holding the Magic Wand inventory item (debug).
