Rule 34 at it's finest. I'm thinking I'm going to pass though, monster girls are my shtick, but the lack of variety kills it here. To put it bluntly: Candle Girl is Hot ;) but if that's all there is then it's kinda dull.

Awww, Flambeau is adorable- she needs her own VN. :p

Bosses kinda remind of "Cuphead"- hope it's not that hard...

I actually thought this would be one of those Pokémon parody games. Still, I don't know which would be more ...bizarre honestly.

Well, the characters are cute. And the game itself is mildly entertaining, I guess - the level design, while simple, was clever enough, and the trap mechanic is neat.

The hitbox seems a bit large, though, leading to you picking up items you didn't intend to and making the bonus levels a chore. And the torments really trivialize the soul mechanic for the entire rest of the game - as soon as you hit six hundred souls (which you probably will halfway through the game), solving a relatively simple puzzle will give you more souls than the entire main game - and the second torment will be enough to unlock all of the remaining cards. It feels like post-game content that should have been gated by actually finishing the game, rather than a soul count. Speaking of the soul mechanic, I kind of feel like we should have had the opportunity to collect "extra" souls on each floor, rather than the only variable being the wax bonus; it feels a bit weird that the primary source of souls is not being damaged, rather than the actual souls we're collecting.

The "teleport back to your candle" mechanic is either ridiculously overpowered or completely irrelevant depending on the level, though; paying a soul to sidestep a dangerous area or immediately heal is a trivial price to pay, especially when it usually lets you get a higher wax bonus. Personally, I'd suggest removing the mechanic entirely.

It's also slightly buggy - I had to redo the second boss twice when teleporting back to avoid poison clouds instead caused my character to become both immortal and stuck. Things like that didn't happen often (the bug second boss is the only one that caused any real problems), but it was somewhat irritating when it did.

Twenty dollars seems like a lot to ask for the game, though. Something in the range of five sounds more appropriate to me.

Am I being too critical?... It's not a bad game, it just... Feels unpolished. And short - I'm pretty sure I finished it in under an hour.

That itch page really seems to misrepresent the tone of the game, though... Did I miss some kind of joke or something?

I, uh, can't seem to grasp the intricacies of gameplay.
I literally have no idea of what I'm supposed to be doing.

It's plain text and can be edited with notepad. I gotta say, it really wasn't worth the trouble figuring this out, though. They charge $20 for this game and it hardly has any content. Cute art, but I've legitimately seen free flash games with more to them than this. I had been wanting to check this game out for some time and was sorely disappointed by it.

You know, before I came on this site for the first time I was relatively normal sexually, outside of being into porn games, obviously. Now, here I am genuinely considering downloading a game where I play as a candle with tits that sucks the life out of things.

Ironically, my very first encounter with adult entertainment as a teen was with a site dedicated to transformation into inanimate objects... This is probably closer to where I started than 95% of the things on this site.

...That probably explains a lot about my issues, actually.

Okay. Let's start right off the bat. The idea of the game, turning into traps to stop the enemies... Good concept. Original thoughts are always welcome when they work.

The concept working here in this game? No. The idea is bad in this game. It doesn't work well enough. Allow me to explain...
The way you possess the traps is instant use. You possess it and it activates. The amount of actual "damage" you can do is about half the animation. The animation lasts about 1 or 2 seconds. That means, you can only damage things for like half a second. THAT means you have to wait until they're drinking your health off before you can possess your trap to kill them to beat the level. Well... That's fine honestly as long as the traps work, right?

Not all traps actually work. Bookcases had a very temperamental 'take over' to them. That means sometimes, I'll go to use a bookshelf and SOMETIMES it would simply not do anything, and sometimes it would. It's like RNG that isn't in your favor. Okay, well... That isn't a big deal and I have the patients of a god, so let's just try it for a few hours until we win.

Ohhhhh no. There's no winning after one of the levels. They put a bookshelf in the way and you can't get to the other side or take it over. Some kind of anti-piracy thing I guess? That's what I think it is, but I can't tell because the bookshelf mechanics are so broken I just figure it's anti-piracy because I want to believe the game isn't so unplayable that I can't actually play it.

The art is good, but not $15 or $20 good. The game is fun but not worth money fun. If it's this broken I'd never pay money for it, so I want to believe that the game is actually fun and it's just anti-piracy. Never even got to see a sex scene since the game just wouldn't let me complete it.

I also hate games that don't let me save-hack. Not saying it isn't possible, but I can't find the save file for editing.

That girl's design kinda reminds me of Dusty Castle, from Gorepete.
I was thinking the same thing. That's what drew me to this page. Love that game. Was hoping there would be links to more games from that developer.
