Honestly it's a really fun game, the artstyle and mechanics are not for everyone that's for sure but I like it.

Now let's go over some of the good and bad

Great Art: Art looks fantastic with unique character designs, style is highly subjective however. I love the different character designs personally.
Decent Animations: Animations aren't top quality or anything but still pretty nice. there's gore but it's non-sexual.
Hard Controls: Janky controls that are hard to get used to. This adds an extra difficulty barrier- enjoyable to some(me) but unbearable to others.
Okayish Combat: Standard fights are mechanically simple. Lots of unique enemies, and a fun spell system though, some of the spells feel satisfying to use.
Enjoyable Bossfights: Each bossfight is unique and provides opportunities to perform strings and combos(kinda), and feels much more engaging than the standard combat. Difficult but enjoyable. Bossfights are replayable after a certain point in progression
Frustrating Navigation: I think it's intentional that the map is hard to navigate but lord does it get frustrating, extremely easy to get lost. You can either draw your own map or use the one from this thread. I couldn't reach the final fight without having to check the map.
Vast Content: There's a good chunk of enemy types, staffs, spells, and animations. The map itself is decently big with different areas having unique environment design. There's some parkour, puzzles and hidden collectibles like staffs, spells or stat bonus.
Mid Story: Story is pretty simple and linear, nothing interesting. Downgrade from their previous work. The plot itself is also not that special.
Bug Free: Didn't encounter any bugs.
Stretchable Playtime: If you play it blind without any help then you can play this game over the course of a few months- play a few hours>get stuck>quit>feel like completing it>continue again>repeat
Okay Audio Design: Not bad but nothing to write home about
Challenging Difficulty: Highly subjective, some will enjoy the suffering this game offers, others will hate that the difficulty is inflated by clunkiness. Checkpoints are your best friend but they are far apart and you never know where the next one is (you can hear wind noises if checkpoint is in an adjacent section). I think metroidvanias like this one should be hard.
Bad Gallery Mode: Not Awful but it could be much better.
Overall Clunky Feeling: Sorry for mentioning multiple times but the game really is clunky, it's the exact opposite of fluid gameplay. Every few steps you take you need to pause and use zoom out to see where to fucking jump, like misin could have easily made the platforms at a visible distance but they make you rely on the zoom out feature which feels so jarring because you just need to pause your entire flow. Even if you are skilled you can't have smooth progression.
Troublesome Resolution: Fullscreen is too pixelated, 1.00x is clean but too small. I struggled to find the sweetspot, could have had some Anti-Aliasing implementation or something (idk) but it's not the end of the world.

PS: Use receptive mode when you just wanna enjoy the view without dying.

If you are lazy and don't wanna put up with the hardships just use the gallery unlock mode, it's built into the game.

CUSTOMISE YOUR KEYBINDS- trust me it will make life so much easier

I am rating 5 despite the prevalent cons because that's how I feel about it compared to other H-games I have played.

I know this game isn't that popular and very few people will bother reading this but I tried making it detailed, hope you found it helpful.

    Dropped at the first boss.
It looks cute. It plays like absolut jank.

The control scheme is terrible. You can remap the keys but movement is stuck on the arrow keys. Jumping is somehow not the up arrow and you can't bind it there either. I couldn't come up with anything that worked. Even on a gamepad it's only just barely playable.
Casting spells works by pressing the cast button and another button for the spell you want to cast. But casting while crouching zooms out the screen instead. With how often I mixed up just those two in the 30 minutes I played I don't even want to imagine how awful this becomes once there is more than one spell in play.
That zoom out skill is also just a sign of bad design. If I need to stop and zoom out every five steps because there is another pit that I can't see the bottom of maybe the camera is just not set up properly.
Enemies deal a lot of damage even on easy difficulty considering how clunky the movement feels.
Mana does not regenerate while jumping. Hitting flying enemies almost requires a spray and pray approach with the basic spell's movement pattern.
Can't move right out of a dodge. Forced to just stand there and take the follow up attack.
Cheap enemy positioning behind trees or off screen.

There were H scenes for several of the enemies I encountered. Short loops only. Looked decent enough. Seemed to be the rape on defeat kind only.

I don't get the raving reviews at all.
Yes, the art is cute and all, but everything else is terrible.

Firstly, it is a typical "get an H scene on defeat" type of game. I've seen this kind of games heavily criticized on this site just for that, but not this one. Okay then.

The plot is almost non-existent. A flower witch apprentice is looking for the flower witch. There is pollen that makes everyone horny and futanari. Each boss tells you that the witch went "to another castle, Mario". "But the plot doesn't matter!" you might say. It's the gameplay, right?

Well. It's dogshit. The controls are janky, the mc constantly doesn't want to change the direction, the main magic missile shoots at 5 cm and the hitboxes are just weird. On top of that, the controls settings are the worst I've seen: you can't change the movement keys at all, so you're stuck with arrow keys. If you want to play one-handed - imagine what that looks like to set the keys around arrow keys. And you need to set them one by one in a list inside the menu, which you can only access on checkpoints. Marvelous.

But you know what? Don't bother. When you do that, you get to enjoy great level design, with holes that send you back to the checkpoint, and sometimes even missing checkpoints after boss-fights, so you hope for a save after you defeated the boss, but you actually needed to return to the previous check-point to save. But after the fight you have little HP left, so you die to a random creature and have to do the boss-fight again.

But what do you fight the unforgiving mobs, that don't even let you watch the capture H animation because the HP depletes very quickly making you return to the checkpoint, for? Well, very average quality cgs, that don't even exist for every mob, and are unique for bosses only. But to get them, you need to die and waste another 5-10 minutes to get back there. Oh, and they're also only a-quarter-of-the-screen-wide.

Yes, the pixel art is good, though the animations are honestly not that great, they are amateurishly done and consist of 3-4 frames only.

The game promised sex with mobs when the mc becomes futanari. Well, you only get that if you get damaged severely by the flower pollen, then you need to rescue the non-hostile mobs and start the H scene, but even then your HP depletes for some reason? So you loose and have to start all over anyway.

I was hoping for some kind of mechanic that lets you become futanari by will, so I've played for 3-4 hours, defeated the succubus boss (which seems to be more than half the game judging by the map areas), but couldn't be bothered to suffer further. Maybe there is some kind of item that lets you do something with the mobs. Or maybe you need to level up H stats to get there. But since you constantly loose because of the H scenes, it would be very tedious to do, since you would need to start all over all the time, or constantly return to the checkpoint (you get healing items drops very rarely). I accidentally got 1-2 points in each H category, but just couldn't bring myself to waste more time on this.

A very tedious and not entertaining game, not recommended.

The game is good, H scenes are rather enjoyable, more content than the first game. But beware, even on easy mode, this game is not a walk in a park, took me many retries just to defeat the final boss. But its well worth it. 4 Stars because no good gallery mode

Flower Witch has gorgeous artwork, fluid animations, tons of enemies and bosses to encounter, and many H-scenes. The combat can be fiddly, but there are multiple difficulty settings that can make the gameplay smoother. If you're a fan of Metroidvanias, Flower Witch will be right up your alley.

However, be aware that handful of animations feature gore. There are very few, but they're there.

A really good original game. The story is fine and the game in fun to play.
It can be a bit complex at first for the ones who didn't play the first game, but I don't think is hard to play. You can even play with your controller and customize your hotkeys.
THe hard part are the challenges... but they're called challenges for a reason. :sneaky:

I really enjoyed this game and I'm waiting for their next work.

I've tried more than once to give this game few chances since it's supposed to be good one (if you are to believe the reviews). But I simply can't - for me it's terrible.

Firstly because of "wooden", chunky, poorly responsive controls and strange hitboxes, making combat simply annoying. Enemies can knock you down and eat large chunck of your health in a moment (and that's on easy difficulty with early monsters), and they can hit you without even directly touching you, and you on the other hand can swing like 5 times and not hit them at all (this is often with flying enemies).

Secondly because there are no turtorials or explanation what you are supposed to do, where to go, how to use items you picked, how to advance/upgrade your character etc. Nothing. You have to find everything by trial and error method. It's nice that there is at least explanation here how to set language to english since intructions in txt files are not in english.

And there is also matter of sex scenes. Sure they look cute but getting any means instant death, since MC will loose her entire hp very rapidly and she will be defeated long time before scene can end, so having any sex = instant game over. And then you are returned to last saved checkpoint and all of your progress and experiences after it are gone... So how you are supposed to get sexual stats or unlock gallery if game ends and resets after you try to do that? This is just dumb.

So sorry, but for me it's barely playable and completely not worth time spend. I'm suprised how this awful and crappy title can have so many good reviews.

5/5 Lesbian, Monster, Monster girl & Futa game!
If you're into that, this game will deliver!
    Gameplay-
    ☑ Okay
The gameplay is simple, a little rough, you depend a lot on your staff and magic skills (some are busted tho), you can get caugh by enemies and get aroused by some flowers.
Your HP depletes quite fast tho, so beware of that.

    Graphics-
    ☑ (s)Excellent
Love the themes of this game, great high quality ero animations, game over scenes, and great variety.
But beware, there's a few scenes that are gruesome.

    Audio
    ☑ Great!
MC has a voice, the lewd sfx are great, and you can get into it swiftly.

    Difficulty-
    ☑ Challenging
Your HP is quite small, so pray that you can get to the next save spot before getting caught by the monster girls.

    Price
☑ Just buy it or support the creator!
This game is a must! Really cute.

    Bugs:
    ☑ Bug free?
    I haven't encountered any myself.

Been playing this for a while, I think its a good pixel game, and the creator did their best to snuff out bugs while making a almost fluid like pixel game. ^w^
I also really like the Futa H events where not many R18 games seem to be fully on board with the whole Futa genre yet. X3

I don't know what the other reviewers were smoking, but the game is absolutely awful. The gameplay consists of you randomly running around to find where the hell you are supposed to go because THERE IS NO GODDAMN MAP! Even platformer fans like me cannot rate this higher, oh and don't even get me STARTED on the control scheme. It is so fucking awful that the uploaders here had lo LITERALLY WRITE A GUIDE on activating english, and then you need to manually change the controls, worst experience I have ever seen.

Sure you might say that the H-scenes are nice, but that doesn't compensate for the horrendous level design.

I made it to the mysterious library after the Succubus boos in the Ice cave and simply gave up, this is a boring waste of time.

    Version: Final

A simple and cute 2D pixel platformer with a pretty good and complex combat system, Overall its a pretty simple game in all forms, the best, most developed part of this game is the combat. It allows to have various strategies and builds of many kinds, which is not something you often see in these types of games here.

    Good stuff

Killer gameplay with a good challenging balance of platforming and fighting.
Also there's porn, I guess. Futanari, well-made 2D, vibrant, and pretty cute.

In fact, the whole game is vibrant and well-made. If I had to find an issue, it's that the sex is all based on the player losing. Why that became the tend, I will never know.

Cute little game ngl. This game feels like playing on the gameboy advance. Good looking animations and sounds. I'm hesitating on giving this a 3.5 or a 4 because of some horrendous boss fights. The first boss was crazy unfair and i'm not even sure if the dark flower garden boss is even beatable. I hit her for one hour straight and she was still alive. Kept spamming her damn white carrots from the celling and a freaking plant got me on low health. I'm a guy how hates watching walkthroughs and i feel that you have to beat her in a cryptic way so i'm not even gonna bother. The real killer of this game is the no recovery option from knockbacks (as with old school video games). It is so frustrating i almost broke my keyboard. Am I gonna recommend this game to anyone ? Yes. But i will tell them that it is a rage game lol

Great game, and one of the few H games that actually made me care more for the gameplay than CGs or H-scenes. IMO:

    PROS

    1. Decent art style and retro aesthetic.
    2. Decent animations (my favorite one would be the Necromancer x Nako).
    3. Decent CGs (gallery).
    4. A good metroidvania game that offers a decent amount of content for its relatively low price (12 USD IIRC, you can buy it on DLSite). Without guides and playing on Normal, it took me many deaths and around 4-5 hours to finish (that includes grinding items to unlock animations).
    5. I liked the difficult areas, the challenging bosses and the different play styles depending on your spells.

    CONS

    1. The difficulty can be kinda BS and RNG at times; it's mostly a thing of trial & error (just like the 1st game, you gotta have a lot patience).
    2. I felt that some spells were either too occasional or outright useless.
    3. Well, I just beat the "Yuri Dungeon" and yep, the worst part of the game; it's so tedious, especially because of the good/bad RNG of difficulty, and because each time you save your progress gets halved (and if you leave, you'll lose all your progress).
    4. The story was alright I guess? But I was kinda disappointed with the ending, it just seemed... vague? I played the previous game now and it featured a "vague" ending as well, so this is just smth personal, not necessarily wrong about the game.
    5. The game mostly features futa on female, female on female, and futa MC on female content, so, if you're not into futa or dislike it, it'll be a turnoff (unless you don't mind and just want to play a good platforming game). Also, Nako (the MC) is a loli, so if you don't like lolicon (which is understandable, really), don't play this game (though Neri, the MC from the previous game, isn't a loli, so you may check it out).
    6. Just a minor issue (for me at least); reused OST. I hope the dev doesn't keep reusing the OST from the 1st game now that he's making a new one, I hope he has enough budget to hire a musician.

All in all, great game, a 9/10 for me.

Edit; I also beat Flower Fairy today and I enjoyed it too, but I could see that, despite reusing assets and enemies, the dev did a good job in making Flower Witch a worthy sequel; it's better mechanically, you can actually play on fullscreen and I feel the bosses are more punishing (though I might be wrong, but that's how I felt it; the 1st game is a bit easier than this one, *especially* the final boss).

https://ci-en.dlsite.com/creator/2411/article, BTW, this is the dev's Ci-en page, there he posts a lot of articles about his games, and he's making another "Flower" game, check him out.

    Stat

TL;DR: great futa monster girl pixel animations, just a tad of bestiality, CGs only for endings, and gallery mode with all content, albeit a little clunky to navigate

THE PORN: Futanari is the main focus of the game, with very few scenes of bestiality. CGs are only for game overs, so you better like pixel porn. That said, the animations are great, with a good variety of positions and partners. It also has a gallery for animations and CGs, but I found it a bit clunky to navigate between animations

THE GAME: fuck, this game is hard, even at the easiest difficulty. It's also a bit long, netting 2 or 4 hours if you explore enough. Unless you're really into playing an erotic platformer-epxloration game, just get the full save

A very hard game with a bit strange movement but manageable with controller. Amazing animation and sometimes multiple scenes in one enemy which is something not a lot of devs do. The music I think is generic, kind of copied from other games but it fits this one very well, the game over screen most especially because it sounds like you are doomed to lewdness. The music + the voice overs made me cum multiples times. I love this dev already despite the games issues.

Fantastic game, 60+ really well done animations. CGs are great as well. Both CGs and MC involved animations can be viewed in the unlockable galleries.
Easily spent 20 hours in this game on the hardest difficulty and I still have a bit left to complete, though if you are playing on easy and are using a guide, it might take a fraction of that time (any% world record is like 28minutes). Worth supporting the Dev-Artist since he is working on a new game as well.

[This is my first review and the reviewing rules didn't mention anything about it, but I suppose it would be polite to mention that my review contains spoilers.]

I'm in love with this game, it hits so many marks for me.
The difficulty was frustrating but also very satisfying, felt a bit like playing Dark Souls.
I was very impressed with the quantity and quality of animations, and the bonus animation for remaining pure throughout the game is a very welcome incentive.
Getting to the secret boss while staying pure so I could get the "Kurosane's" fetish was very difficult and felt like an achievement.
I'll buy the game to support the developer, really wish they'd make a sequel. My only complaints are that some of the save points are sorta hidden and I would often explore a large area and die before I could make it to a previous save point or find a new one, though perhaps this is less of a problem if you're not trying to stay pure. You don't get to have master back at home after you finish it, which is a real shame, but that ending was really friggin' cute. These little flaws cannot justify a less than perfect score from me.

Very nice Metroidvania. It's pretty fun to play, and there's quite a bit to see and do.

While the controls can be a bit odd and the animations aren't high res or particularly smooth, the characters are attractive and if you enjoy yuri/futa-on-female content, it's one of the best games of this kind I've played.

    Astora07

The game is challenging for a hentai platformer even on the """easy""" difficulty, but once you get the hang of it (and probaby change the keybindings to your preference) it becomes a lot more doable and enjoyable, at which point you can appreciate the well done art and animations, though the overwhelming majority are female MC x Futanari or monster, with a handful of futanari MC x female animations. The game's fun as a platformer too, and there's plenty to explore/collect. Definitely recommended if you like futa and ryona platformers.
