I like the game, I was scraping around the site for any games with preg content or sandbox or any games with nice gameplay loops and came across this game. I may have some ideas for new features for this game, maybe you already heard it but it could give some insight, food for thought.


I would like to see more peaceful interactions between the player and NPCs soon. I've heard in the chats there's some consent content or system but I haven't figured it out yet, even when approaching a group I would drop seeds or food and they are still hostile towards the PC.

The aggressive ones that follow me forever I would just eliminate.

I know this would take crazy amounts of coding + time so, do with this what you will.



My suggestion: Trust System

Although, a trust or likeness system I'd like to see in the game. Initially when meeting NPCs naturally they'll be wary or hostile. But if you leave food for them as they approach and step back and they take it that could be a good start for improving relations. If you gain enough they might let you wander into their camps and their members become more comfortable with you and if that pregnancy tag sticks around... some tribes need new members...

Or if attacked and the PC resorts to Non - Lethal forms of self defense i.e. fists or kicks (if you need the weapons), then the NPCs may respond accordingly,

- Consider you an annoyance and still attack you
- Be wary of you but not as hostile unless too close while staying away.



Wanderers NPCs / Wild Animals:


S0: Basic Functions
S1: Aroused Wanderers
S2: Personality Effects
S3: Wild Animals - Prey & Predators


S0: Basic functions

Either tribe members or maybe even unaffiliated NPCs will wander around the map, also foraging for things like the player, mainly trees and bushes but not berries as not to starve the player. They may accept trade if you give them something or attack you or run.


S1: Aroused Wanderers

I'd also like to think wandering NPCs could be in heat, high arousal, or REALLY need to mate with someone. They should be visible by a pink circle or steam surrounding their icon on the map indicating so or a heart symbol above them. If they come across the player they will either attempt;

> rape the player (Could be pouncing on them, waking them up in their sleep then doing the deed with them, any other similar advancements you could think of) - I imagine an explanation point above their icon followed by a heart breaking symbol already in game indicating they're going to rape the player.


> Or ask the player (Tail wagging, saying it, blushing, making physical provocative contact with the player such as rubbing against them or similar move) - I imagine a explanation point above their icon followed by a pink full heart symbol or bubbling hearts around the NPCs icon indicating they want to have consensual sex.

Personality Effects

I imagine if they're brave and in heat they'll approach you with fangs bared and attempt to tackle you, same goes for timid NPCs if they really want it enough, the tackling motion from them I imagine will;

- trigger a minigame to popup to play against her tackle move,
- Give the player 2 options, "Give in" ,"Resist" - (Success / Failure could depend on PC strength vs NPC or just the PC)

IF they don't tackle you they'll get stunned, and may be vulnerable or allow themselves to be vulnerable or any other way to entice the player you can think of. Otherwise after recovering from the stun, they'll either attack you, stay in place allowing for interaction, or leave.

IF they do succeed then the female NPC makes her advancements on the PC with the AI making decisions during intercourse.


I have not read up much on this thread since I just followed so let me know if I miss a detail or two.

NPC personalities having an effect on how they do sex, combat, and other interactions could be interesting.


S3:
Wild Animals

Could be a new source of meat instead of butchering the tribes. Deer, wolves, rabbits, lambs etc. They'll either run from or attack the player though I wouldn't spawn predators unless the player's strength is above 3.00 up to you.


Is there any plans for this? Plus curious how you'll do preg content, love that stuff.

when playing why does everything go gray sometimes? I went to sleep, and everything went gray. Yeah seems to be happening to me everytime i sleep. i tried waiting for a minute to see if that was the "sleeping" effect but it never went away. Still able to open inventory and drop stuff etc but just everything else is gray.

I will consider these suggestions, thank you for you time and play.
There is already pregnancy in the game, either impregnate somone and wait 20 in-game days to see the bump and another 5 for the birthing, or sleep through 20-22 days and you may encounter pregnant npcs, as npcs can impregnate eachother.
(HOWEVER NPCS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO IMPREGNATE NPCS THAT GOT FUCKED BY THE PLAYER.)

Some of my play testers also came with this issue, it seems to be something relating to the specs of your computer not being able to handle 100+ npcs simulating at 10x speed and messing positions up, I have added an option to slow down the sleeping time-boost so this will not be an issue next update.

Is the world randomly generated? Or is it suppose to be this small? I started on an island with no other land in sight with only trees and a bushes on it, no NPCs or nearby visible landmasses I might be able to build(?) towards.

World is big and randomly generated, if you seed is bad just restart until you get a good one.
For now there is no swimming sadly.

Interract button stopped working mid game with npc's. Honestly without save&load function it feels waste of time to even test the game.

Oh right, I found no bugs so far as of the day of this message.


And see if you can make any of the positive interactions with the tribe members have more value, such as if I talk to one of the members and I say something they like, instead of just +1 for the likeness, bump it up to +2 for each regular thing they like and for something they really like it could be +4 or 8. Same could go for anything negative, a -2 could work for anything they dislike, -4 for anything they hate.

But that's just for interaction. Maybe the same for sex but I'll leave that to you.

Hunger is still progressing too fast, compared to previous version it's at least playable for a few minutes but that's it. Right now the gameplay is just a butchering game until there is nothing more to kill around you and you starve to death, finding berry bushes is close to a miracle and finding settlements big enough to sustain you for more than a day or two is also close to impossible.
I was waiting since 2nd demo for some update and honestly I'm very disappointed by the update this time, at least let us know when we are starving with some message before i die of hunger because enemy decided to be downed 10 times in a rio instead of being killed and then dropping measly 1 meat

You need to gather berry seeds and plant them by using the "place" button in the inventory, get a farm going and all your hunger problems will go away. You are right though, should really add like some kind of notification when starving.

Mayhaps, talking is free of resources rn but in the future when time is also in the frame I shall think about upping the rewards.

I did give it another go and you REALLY need to implement hunger and health bar, not just from character screen. Dying to poisoned food feels like a kick in the nuts, when you have no way knowing that it's happening. Character screen and backpack cannot be opened at the same time. What you created, good sir, is pure torture.

I've noticed that when you try to interact with an NPC while they're asleep it tends to completely disable interacting with NPCs altogether. Multiple times I've had to restart the game to be able to interact with them again. This doesn't disable the ability to pick up things or use stuff like the bed.

I'm just surprised at people who leave bad reviews about a game that is only in the CONCEPTUAL demo version. Instead of just reviewing the conceptual possibilities, pointing out mistakes, and expressing some ideas, they just decided it would be easier to present the game as if it was already in alpha and didn't deserve attention
