Well coincidentally i was also hacked 2 weeks later after i downloaded the game so could be mega coincidence but sus aswell that itsmflagged as password stealer

You can see the 'false antivirus warning' in the first page of this thread. I've been playing game cracks from the same site and I've not faced any issues. But I can't guarantee the same for others.

Chinese pirate sites don't use goldberg emulator methods, they use custom DLL injector which flags antivirus software.

Yep completed that game 100%. Those links got 456 downloads in total and 2 complaints about virus. Don't know if those links are still active though.
