If by close you mean every single glyph is different then sure. Well, he's not recreating the logo so it doesn't need to be exact and it is a similar style...
Again, you're applying the standards of official fonts to a man-made object that is not a font. I just showed that you could match it pretty well using a standard font. And add effects in an editor like PS. That way, you can create hundreds of buttons, dialogue, whatever.. in minutes. All in the same style.
Regardless, it's been my experience that no matter how much time you spend trying to perfect the fonts in these projects, you will still get a large group of people complaining about them. Everyone has different ideas of style. Everyone has different vision abilities. Some play on PC while others always use mobile devices.
By far, the best compromise is to give people the option to change things as much as possible... like font size scripts, being able to change the textbox opacity, adding or removing outlines... etc, etc
