For those who decide to play a game because of certain fetish

Overall while I'm not into the OP (meaning that fetishes don't decide what I play) I have to say that I'm sure mostp eople are disappointed on that aspect, most games have a ton of tags and very limited content on certain fetishes.

We could even say that fetishes is the most generic aspect of games, however there are a few games that have a main fetish then the secondary ones, just to give an example we have tales of androginy, a futanari/trap focused game.

On the aspect of fetishes the japanese games are more developed, they tend to have a few main fetishes and then explain multiple situations that happen around them, while I have noticed that the english style games tend to try to appeal to as many people as possible albeit ending more generic on the fetish aspect.

But the main reason someone that finds game based on fetishes would be disappointed is as simple as that, because there isn't enough of their fetish in the game, many games that have "x" tag could only have it for a few scenes or be really limited. In a sense we could say that said fetish is mostly a bait haha.

Intrusion of other fetishes / sex content that is unavoidable. One of my favorite games does such a good job with mindbreak, maledom and blackmail fetishes, but then also has some vanilla and harem stuff as part of the main story and that puts me off a bit.

i love a good bukkake, but obviously many games dont feature this because of a single mc fucking all the chicks, and mc's dont usually partake in gangbangs either unless there is hardcore ntr which i dont enjoy, but games where protag is hot babe then there may be cumbaths to which i will take the bonus!

Ignoring the common ills and focusing on issues related to the inclusion of fetishes mainly the way they often tend to be grouped into premade packages. For example it's hard to find a game which includes hardcore tentacle sex but does not focus on rape, corruption or similar drivel that's a dime a dozen anyway. Or more generally how giving female characters a "positive" attitude towards sex always seems to take the form of brainless bimbos, corruption into universal depravity or in rarer cases hardcore femdom. Likewise I rarely see interracial sex just enjoyed for the sake of it/for the individual partner, it's always a cringeworthy dick-measuring contest between the "races", usually throwing in some outright humiliation of the smaller party for good measure.

Very often. And the more tags, the greater the chances are the thing you are hoping for is buried somewhere in a random scene that barely qualifies. Good writing can offset this, and sometimes it doesn't even matter in the end, but it can definately raise an eyebrow when you are promised cute traps, and it's just a single reference or image.

It's a general problem with tags on F95. I personally would very much prefer, if a tag would only be given, if the question "would the average player who really likes that kind of tagged content be satisfied playing this game?" is answered positively.

Sadly it's mostly the other way round and it's tagged once there's only a hit of content X in the game.

Speaking as someone who enjoys a very niche fetish, bestiality, no. When going into games tagged that I understand unless the OP says otherwise the game isnt going to be based around that one tag, that I may at most be getting 1 or 2 scenes. Adjust your expectations. The only time I am disappointed is when it isn't tagged properly.

The worst is when the tag is a one of or a dream sequence or something. Then I end up playing the game only to waste my time.

I know this well, I recall seeing a game of 5GB with Futa/Trans tag and I decide to downloaded but after sometime playing I didn't find anything then I realize when I was checking in the thread that the tag is there just because of 1 optional photo that has nothing to do with the plot. The Mods should revaluate this type of tagging that the only function is baiting...

My personal rating about tags is how they can be deceitful, sometime the game appear to actually have the fetish there but then the dev decide to either remove or transform in vanilla but the tag still there or when the dev decide to create a character or route teasing a certain fetish but after years it still in "development"...

I am rarely disappointed in my games because I get them from here where I can observe the size of the comment sections. From there, I usually learn of other games by word of mouth in the forums.

When I am disappointed, it is usually because of a poor machine translation.

Its never a deciding factor, but the pregnancy tag gets me deeply interested and when its an ending that you barely see... I dont care at all for it. Creampies without a pregnancy system also are mildly disappointing but i get why that happens...

I often search for specific tags just to narrow down the list of potential new games. That said, I do tend to select specific games over others due to the tag/fetish.

I don't think my disappointment is due to the lack of content related to the fetish or because of the representation of the fetish. It is more due to the game or contents itself. I do have a key group of fetishes that I prefer, as well as a group of fetishes I straight up dislike and try to avoid. This does not mean I cannot enjoy a game without any of those core fetishes, nor games with fetishes I tend to dislike. While I do tent to look more favorably on games with core fetishes and give them more leeway, the opposite is also true for those fetishes I tend to dislike. I have a habit of forming stronger negative feelings for such games.

With that said, it isn't a black/white issue. I feel as if the majority of the reason I am disappointed by games under such fetishes is due to the overwhelming majority of them have so many similarities. An example is incest. Where there are so many carbon copies of one another. I can only deal with the cunty elder sister or dominant mother so many times. Another example is slavery. I want the girl to be MY slave, I don't want to do all the bloody work just to sell her off to someone else.

Aside from this, I think I judge most games on equal footing. While I do get a bit annoyed at times by my preferred fetishes, I do feel like it balances itself out at time as well.

You avoid set yourself up for disappointment if your narrow down the number of fetishes the game got in addition to your preferred one.

biggest disappointment in games that already made it through the initial checklist? probably early, easy sex content and similar dream sequences. nothing pisses me off as much as the main prize given free in an unavoidable dream sex scene during first 5 minutes.

having a milf tag but dev clearly having zero interest in the one token milf character.

I have times I'm disappointed by the tags, but I feel like most often it's just my personal preference, and not something everyone would dislike. Some tags I'm disappointed by at times:

Harem: If you bang a lot of people one by one it's not a harem. There needs to be some form of... "grouping" for it to count as harem.

Futa: I like playing as them. When everyone is a futa I don't like it anymore.

Female Protagonist: I want to play as a independent strong women, not as rapemeat.

So yeah, I always check the comments first. I don't like surprises.

I was disappointed by most porn games, I played yet. These are the main reasons why:

Lesbian scenes that are interupted by a male character and become MFF threesomes or turn out to be a performance for a male character. These are absolute boner killers and unfortunately they happen quite often.

Female protagonists who need to have straight sex. When I have a female protagonist, I want to play 100% lesbian. There is nothing as redundant as men in female protagonist games.

Characters that are advertised as milfs but look like teenagers are annoying too.

I love NTR so I rarely get disappointed since almost all of them have the word 'NTR' like since in the title.
Oh and 100 % of the time there's gonna be someone who comments "Does this game contain NTR?" this becomes like a tradition now.

Quite a lot.

The amount of times i've downloaded a game tagged for lesbian for the lesbian content to only mean 2 girls kissing while bouncing on a dick is astounding.

There are only a handful of actual lesbian games that should have the tag, the rest need it removing tbh.
