VN - Ren'Py - Foreseeable Family [v0.3] [Lightning-Enteractive]

This game is a real disappointment. While some may praise the renders and sex scenes, I found them lackluster and uninspired. But the real kicker? The writing. the game has terrible renders that are not even passable. and dont even get me started on the dream sequences!!!

Instead of engaging storytelling, we get cliché characters spouting cringe-worthy dialogue. It's like the developers took a step back in time to the days of cheesy, poorly-written erotica. And don't even get me started on the plot – it's as generic as they come, despite attempts to spice it up with superpowers.

Honestly, I'm baffled by the rave reviews. This game doesn't offer anything new or exciting. Save your time and skip this one. honestly, finding a good superhero game on this site is the real mission here.

The foundation for a good game is there, a somewhat unique setting, characters with conflicting goals and motivations, and a decent number of choices, but it fails at execution.

Despite the cool concept, the journey feels more like a chore than something fun. The MC is supposed to be this badass war hero and he and his friend continue to say that he is "not a pussy," which is ironic considering that he is.

I don't think there is a single sex scene that does not start without MC getting sexually harassed. You ever watch those NTR hentai where the wife/girlfriend gets sexually assaulted at first, but then starts to enjoy it? Well, the MC is basically that wife, which makes it hard to enjoy any of the sex scenes. He never takes the initiative, it's always the girls molesting him and then him hesitating like one of those NTR wives.

Overall, the plot progression is really bad. Almost every decision the MC makes is the wrong one and the other characters aren't all that interesting either. The daughters are a big part of the game, but they barely have any characterization.

Then, you have the worst offender, which is Lana, some strange being that calls herself the MC's wife, but keeps on molesting the MC despite him begging her not to do anything, and this just emboldens her to do even more fucked up shit like transforming into the daughters. Unfortunately, when it comes to Lana, you don't get to make many choices, just a few here and there, but most of her scenes are forced on you even if you don't like her, which I don't see how anyone would.

In short, a victim wife MC who does little else than whine and hesitate and a plethora of unexplored characters with a frustrating plot development. In concept, this game has potential, but I think it has been messed up beyond repair and should be redone from scratch.

Yeesh, this VN is a prime example of why most should stay away from unreliable/psychotic MCs at least in VNs. There is no progress at all more of dreams of progress because the VN really leans hard on the visions rather than the MC using the visions to try to make decisions. It doesn’t help that we get Lana who’s a just a bitch. However, the biggest gripe is the narration telling us to have fun and play the game we want only to tell us it will also not let us scroll back and choose differently. Yeah no VNs are about choice if you wanted that make a kinetic novel.

i have always wanted to have this kind of ability. but it could have been better if mc was a bit more dunno badass? well you have superpower to know the future. you sure want to fully utilize it ;p

The game is good. It's not top tier but it's fun and sexy. I HATE the psychic mechanics. Especially the constant reminder that it will affect your sanity meter... which is never shown or explained at all. The characters a good. Especially Jesse. I love her.

What an amazing game. Renders are great and sex scenes are great but the best thing about it is the writing. It's engaging, characters are convincing and dialogues witty and humorous. Finally a porn game with some more realistic approach than "I want to ride your cock because you're the MC in the game".

The plot is also exquisite and unique and although there are quite a few porn games with super powers involved this one is the best BY FAR.

I've downloaded this game earlier and skipped dialogues to see the sex scenes but didn't think much of it (I mean, sex scenes were very good but there are games with better renders) but once I've read it I immediately loved it. I highly recommend it but you must read the text.

Just an awesome innovative game. I almost never write a review, but need to make an exception for this game. The game delivers an awesome combination of character development and progression with the MC. Can't wait for the new update.

I rarely leave comments for sex games, but this VN had me gripped throughout the plot. Even in the first half where there was pressure to use the powers sparingly for fear of negative ramifications, it created a very real internal struggle in my mind that immersed me even more and made me think about each choice I made. When it got toward the end of 0.3, even if the powers didn't have the same weight of negative outcomes, it was enough to establish a pattern in me to only choose the powers as a last resort, much how I would likely do in a real world scenario as I can see how easily such powers could corrupt a person and be abused in real life. Wonderful concept, nice models, includes many of the taboo elements I look for, and gripping storyline with just enough well-placed sex scenes that kept me engaged throughout. Looking forward to the next update and hope the content continues to drive the story forward and doesn't fizzle out or end abruptly for lack of creativity. Kudos to the dev.

Some of the ratings for this made me lose faith in humanity.

People get hung up about the weirdest/dumbest shit because they think they're the Roger Ebert of porn games and will accept nothing less than non-fiction erotica to suit 'thine refined palette.' Never listen to these people.

This game is absolutely amazing. The girls are adorable and have fun, believable (albeit exaggerated, but in the "adult fantasy" way) personalities. The plot is actually something unique and different for a change: you're a guy who inherits a power from his mother which essentially lets you see the future by touching people.

It gets more complex than this, but the point is... there's quite a bit going on here, but not in a way that takes away from the game's main focus which is character development and building relationships. If anything, I would say the story/plot only amplifies said character development and relationships... and it does so in a really interesting, fun way.

What really shines here is the girls. Not just in looks, but in personalities as well. They're their own people, with their own quirks and interests and desires. It makes for a fun dynamic between them and the MC. Despite only being v0.3, there's a lot of content here. If you play as slow as I do, you could easily squeeze more than 5 hours out of this already.

Also if you like "darker" themed things and drama, there's plenty of that here and more. The artwork, animations, and renders are all very solid as well. For me, right now, this is one of my favorite AVNs and I have no doubt given its current trajectory that it will get better in the future. There's also music, sound effects, etc!

I think there was maybe 5 minutes out of like 5 hours where I wasn't full-mast/suffering from a raging erection, which is not something I can say for most games and makes this an automatic 10/10. PLAY THIS!

Absolute utter nonsense. The "plot" is so half-baked and has zero continuity. This is just a fever dream of some dude that wants to be molested by his kids. None of the characters are relatable at all. You aren't given a reason to care about the story at all and yet I still am angry I wasted my time playing as far as I could into this dumpster fire.

Non-consent wet dreams I guess. Dreams because nothing ever happens, dude is stuck in his own head. When he isn't stuck in his own head he is vomiting, dry heaving and yelling 'NO! NO! STOP! THIS IS GROSS!'. The people he sexually abuses yell the same thing. People don't usually try to stop though, they just kinda let it happen and express revulsion.

I have no idea how this is supposed to be arousing or interesting. The plot and writing are very poor, cringey and nonsensical. Reading the dialogue made me feel I was losing brain cells. It is a shame because some of the characters look great.

Great game, i like both the main story and the side stories with the girls and the superpowers makes it great fun and feels like a real game not just a novel.

Plenty of girls as well and they look good so cant complain there either.

Big fan of blackheart games all of them but one has been very good and this game dosent disapoint either.

Story is the main thing for me which is why i got to give it 5 stars.

I will write a full review eventually, but for an early development game this is showing immense promise! I haven't yet discovered every way the game branches and twists, and will probably hold off on that until it is further along in development. That said: There is a lot of good content here, but not every dialogue choice matters as much as it could have.

Play it and try many different things. It's mind fucky and sexy in all the right ways!

Fantastic start to a game. Interesting story, solid renders, I can already tell it's gonna be very replayable. I'm looking forward to seeing how the sanity decisions affect the future. This is definitely one I'm gonna be watching for updates in the future.

It's refreshing to see a game like this. there's a lot of dialogue in this game but they don't go too long without something to keep my interest. plus, the conversations are coherent and make sense for once in these types of games.
I wish we'd focus on the daughters a little more, but honestly, the other characters are so good that I can't say I'm unhappy.

My only complaint is that there's a lot happening with so many characters that sometimes it feels like some of their plots are being forgotten(like Kat)

Headline: I don't like it.

In some more detail, I find the characters quite boring. None of them feel like well rounded people. The plot is interesting, I love a mystery, and if it's going for that 80's "aliens among us" genre vibe, it does nail it pretty well.

Purely subjectively - daughter incest is a massive turn off for me, especially with games that obscure the MC face and position the camera in first person a lot. I can deal with sister incest and mother incest when it is framed as someone else - it's like seeing girls take a dick from someone old, obese, or deformed - which I guess is a kink in itself. But even so, the scenes here are kind of a nothing-burger.

But my biggest complaint is the animations. Whether what I say now is true or not, it sure as hell looks like it: it appears that two keyframes are used and then auto run on a basic curve for a single second. They are basically just a slide show with no stuttering. The fact NO improvement was made in the later scenes is a big issue for me. They all have the same format, one or two second long animations, two keyframes on a smooth curve. It is so unnatural to watch that it would have been better to just not have animations at all.

Renders are decent/good. Animations also good.
Like I said above it´s a story heavy game so if you expect just a fast jerk and everybody fucking after 2 seconds it might not be your game. There are some lewd scenes rather early on though but it´s done in a somewhat clever way.
I also enjoyed the premise of the game which I don´t wanna spoil here but for me it was definetly refreshing for a lewd game. (Obviously I am NOT talking about the "dad with his daughters" thingy ).
Choices seem to matter but it´s a bit too early to actually rate how much branching there will actually be.
Like stated above, if you enjoy a potential good and a bit more complex story which is not like 95% clear after the first 5 minutes, I think you should definetly give it a try. If you are basically clicking just through everything you will get some fine lewd scenes with nice models (eye of the beholder of course) but you will miss the biggest strength of the game. At least in my opinion.

Absolutely amazing in every way :- brilliant artwork, insanely attractive characters, brilliant story and dialogue and even a wonderful sense of humour that underpins the whole story.

i'll be honest, at first i was very skeptical about the concept of certain sex scenes only playing out in visions because i'm not a fan of dream, vision or flashback scenarios.

but after I started the game a second time and got over my initial skepticism, I quickly realized that this is only one aspect of the game that is essential and important to the main story and there were enough scenes that weren't just in visions.

to make the rest short, I'll summarize the game spoiler-free by simply saying: top story and writing, great renders and animations, and the girls are ultra-hot

I've just finished playing. First off, it's been a while since i played a game without skipping the dialogue. Most games out there are the same rehashed shit, one after the other. But not this one.

Not only is the concept very good, but the story too.
The choices you have, the impact you have in the game. One of the best games i've played in quite some time. And that's saying something. 5/5 easy
