Download the correct .dll version (32 or 64 bits), if that doesn't solve the problem, try updating .NET framework, C++ runtime and... everything you may need to update. Run as administrator, restart, etc.

So because I'm a dumbass, I would like to ask more questions.
1. How would I know if I'm using 32 or 64 bit dlls?
2. How do I update the .NET framework?

There is no real progression yet so no need for save asking.
We can't even 100% this either so for now just keep on testing and exploring.

So, while waiting for the new version of FOBS, does anyone know if there are any new or new-ish games that are similar to FOBS/Shiro no Yakata or Castle of Temptation? Coming back after a year and a half to see that a lot has changed. We apparently have a few new menus now? looks like the maps have changed too... can we still capture all the monster girls in the first two versions? (A & B)

A very new game came out just a few days ago called Lost in the World of Succubi, there doesn't seem to be a full thread yet but the game is out and in English.

Def reccomend this one. It's a little small, but the gameplay and mechanics are actually pretty fun

Some of the girls of the older builds (Ver.A and Ver.B) cannot be captured and probably never will now that the devs are Remaking the game in a new engine.

If they are reintroduced to the new version then I suppose there will be a way to do it at some point (even now there are a few that can't be captured but it's probably because that's not implemented yet).
