Anyone have any idea how to get through this spot in the Barrens? When I attack the cracked block at the bottom, it creates a hit effect like when you hit a monster, but nothing else does anything and it doesn't get destroyed even if I attack it a lot. I can't dash through it either.
Also, how do you activate/view emblem bonus scenes once you have the emblem?

You need to hit it with the hammer power up and THEN dash through, I believe.
Once you have the emblem, interact with it and then interact with the girl. That should give you the second scene. If not, then they likely have a second version of themself dedicated to said second scene.

Here, make sure to change the .save part to .actsave though since I couldn't upload the .actsave file.

Pretty sure you can fight monsters there without having to worry about dying.
I thought there's more to it than that since it's located at the gallery.

Reinstall all of the directx versions 9,10,11,(12 <--optional) it should fix the issue

I feel your review, but the reason this game's so highly rated and liked is because there's barely any games like it. In fact, when it was still receiving consistent updates, it was basically the only free pixel art adult game. Not even mentioning the fact that it has a reverse rape content focus.
Maybe you're new though. After you play more games, you'll realize that you will barely, if ever, find a game that tries to do what FOBS does. Female assertive games are already extremely rare. Well animated pixel-art games with a strong sense of eroticism, and unique gimmiks that make the characters memorable without any dialogue are even more rare.

You are right about uniqueness of this game, I neither can't find free game with such detail and quality pixel animated content.
But you are wrong about me being new. Conversely, now, unlike in the past, I'm trying to review games without focusing on the fact that they are free and have high-quality horny content.
I'm trying to pay attention to whether it is possible to beat it without forcing myself, whether it has a plot and how good it is, whether the gameplay is interesting and fun, etc.
Previously, I could let myself to review games solely in terms of the implementation of porn content in them, but now I'm not some kind of pervert to only focus on this.
You could've say: "What are you doing on this site, if you are not a pervert?"
And I will tell you, that this site is not only a repository of porn games, but in general, adult games, that not always focus on porn content. This is what I'm generally trying to find on this site.

He's hinted that he's asking Ansala for help with FOBS too at some point.
I honestly don't think he enjoys programming, and is probably trying to step away from it.
Can't say for sure, but FOBS's remake could be coming out from Unity. We don't know for sure.

FOBS being free has a lot to do with its design decisions though.
The reason it's hard to beat FOBS by yourself, and by that I mean find all the hidden areas and figure out the esoteric ways to lewd the girls, is because he expects the community to talk and discuss among themselves and figure it out together.
Kind of like a first time Dark Souls player literally not knowing where to go unless they ask for help online somewhere. Shit's not intuitive on purpose, people are supposed to be helping each other with the in-game whitestones, but they just go online for help instead.

Liking and enjoying adult material regardless of whether you're also looking at the other factors still makes you perverted.

I believe that she could be very interesting, but what the F... fiddle, she's making it so hard ? Often, you just want a wiki or walkthrough to be created for this situation and nothing else. It's taking more time, than you want to spend, and I can't see any excuse for that

Actually, I can't tell if you're serious or not.
Game was released in parts don't forget.
So imagine he releases an update with... 3 new girls.
You'd play that version with 3 new girls, and figure out every little thing about that part. There'd be a few weeks, 3 to 4 and then he'd give you a new update with new girls. Community would gather and figure out the weird ways to capture the girls, talk and get hyped for the next update together.
It's how he got so popular. FOBS wasn't just a game and done. It had a community. The MGE forum's guide to it had tons of pages, and so does this f95 thread for a reason.
If that's not your preference that's fine, but don't forget it's a free game. This was a design strategy for the game on a macro level.
