Because of size limitations of the engine the game is made on, the game is made with different version types, the newest type has the newest content (but you have to play the prior version type for abilities, etc.).
From what I saw after turning on the xray it seems to only work with the "nightmare" enemy which gives boob job, as far as I saw otherwise though no other enemy has xray yet.
How so? Is it not expected to be paid for hard work done? Or is this just a passion project for him? I know games like this usually do really well on dlsite.

It is, but patreon is not an option popular over there. dlsite is more of an option, but he is not there either. Probably ci-en.
He's getting his name out there as well as growing his skillset. Basically, if you want to do porn games it helps to build a company, called a circle in the visual novel world, to make something bigger and better with. Solo projects give people a reason to collaborate with you. There is a Japanese version of patreon out there and he's got himself on it.
It's also worth noted that he makes another game while making this, so the circle is flowing steadily
