Hey, lurker here, found a fix (at least on my end) for the "There was an error selecting and acquiring the device." issue
Right click on the fobs executable, go to compatability, change high dpi settings, and tick "high dpi scaling override"
(If you can't follow the instructions due to having a different OS, look for a guide to how to fix screen issues with hotline miami, that's the same fix as this.)
(edit: you can also tick 'run in 640x480 screen resolution' but it looks like ass)

The game is being remade, it just released 2 versions already (1 per month) so I don't know where you read that but if it's from something "old" then it's wrong.

Lol, the abandoned tag rules of this website are tricking people even in other websites too, I'm dying here .

Now serious, don't worry the game is not abandoned and that website was "copying" this thread tittle than last month had an "abandoned" tag on it even if the game was not really abandoned, it's because of some rules of this website and doesn't have anything to do with the game, I assure you that soon you are going to see a new version of the game by the end of the month if nothing goes wrong ok

I actually don't know what our policy is about rdo-over/recode/you get the point, but IMO we should start being far harsher about that crap, even if it means having a new tag warning about it.

100% Agree that we need to be a bit harsher, and those devs that seem to only update when their game gets the ABANDONED tag (cough cough Bones' Tales, Kincaid, Crisis Point, etc.) and only provide some bs bugfix and maybe a couple lines of dialog, should still keep the abandoned tag until they've made an update with actual progress

i do not know how the hell you are escaping from monsters hold i click the buttons left arrow and right arrow it fil up but i do not break free drop back down wtf ?

Idk why you replied to mine, but in the newest demo, if you're unable to escape, it's because the progress bar hasn't been programed to the escape yet. This is an early demo and essentially just a concept with the new engine Zell is using
