Well, this is a game that has disappointed me a bit, given the good reviews it has.
To start with, I have to admit that it has a very interesting character (Cain), a background that hooks you over time and a good selection of actresses... But those are all its virtues.
The main problem, in my opinion, is that it is a visual novel disguised as a sandbox. That is, there is absolutely no ability to choose on the part of the player, nor is there any possibility for the player to interact with the characters.
The mechanics of the game are summarized in going from one side to the other in a map as large as it is lacking in options, trying to activate some event. When this happens, the narrator tells what happens without any kind of intervention on the part of the player, the general story or with the character in question advances and it starts again with the hunt for events.
Oh, and of course, since this is a story-driven game, no fetishes are avoidable, which is especially deplorable when the protagonist of the story has a strange obsession with having sex with lesbians, as another forum member has already pointed out in his review.
In short, I think the developer would have less work to do, and the result would be practically the same, if he abandoned the sandbox facade and approached the game as what it really is: a continuous narrative more typical of visual novels.
