RPGM - Fragile Innocence [Ch. IV v0.7 PR] [Dark Love]

This story is a slow burn for sure not like most rpg female games where the protagonist is dumb or easily corrupted. The renders are good. My only gripe with this game is the map layout can be difficult to remember and the player can get lost.

Took me a bit to warm up to this one, but I'm fully on board. Just a warning--there's very little actual porn at this point. The author seems fully committed to world-building and ratcheting up sexual tension and attending to multiple story paths. The map seems intimidating at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Also--like many RPGM games, be careful not to accidentally blow past major decisions because you hit the enter key one too many times (saving is your best friend). That all said, I really like where this story is going and the author has done well to create a unique and interesting world. If each character's internal thoughts about the princess come to fruition, this could be a juicy game indeed. [DISCLAIMER - I only played the corruption/unfaithful route]

I am really conflicted on this game. The art is great and the story is different and promising, but some of the design decisions really detract from being able to enjoy the game, notably:

- Map layout is a nightmare. Even after having played up to v0.7 I never have any idea where I should go in that damn castle. It is full of dead ends and perspective changes and samey art. It feels like it is made specifically to piss you off as a player.
- Slow game play paired with intransparent decision making leads to situations all the time, where you can't act the way you want (option greyed out). That is not a fun game play mechanic. It is frustrating. Since this is a very typical RPGM with lots of (useless) running around on (deserted) maps, you won't go back easily to change your decisions. Not that you'd know what you need to choose to get the option you want later in the game anyway.
- You dislike RPGM games because they make the same mistakes every time? You'll find it all here. Senseless travel across maps? Check. Basic fighting mechanics? Check. Rudimentary quest/inventory system? Check.

It is a shame. There is a good game in there somewhere, but using RPGM in its worst possible incarnation is really killing it.

Not enough content, the Quality of Life changes are not there. The gameplay is extremely generic, like its not a problem, but its implemented very badly. The graphics, however, is good. This is your typical game with good graphics, but very bad gameplay.

While being a bit text heavy, the story was interesting and the scenes were decent. Although, in its current state, there are not many branching paths. Also, you can be pigeonholed into making a particular choice based on much earlier choices (e.g., if you picked an 'innocent' option, you can't pick a 'slut' option, which then meant you couldn't pick a future 'slut' option and on and on).

The RPG aspects of the game are weak. That is, the battle system is uninteresting - you just mash attack or use a potion. The RPG world is frustrating to navigate as it is rarely clear where you can or need to go. To make the matter worse, most of your time is spent walking to and from locations. The free-roam design serves no utility since there is nothing to do outside the main story line, although it may be the plan of the developers to introduce side quests at a later date. Alas, in its current state, I would have enjoyed this game more if it was a VN.

This game needs more attention.
You can tell the dev is really passionate about his project, the renders and writing are awesome.
I'm a big fan of slow corruption and moral degeneration and this game is in my opinion doing the best job here on f95 so far. Both the female and male protagonists are exposed to erotic encounters and their morality comes into question, awesome.

Only flaw in this game is that the map can be quite confusing in the beginning. But thank god there is no grinding.

Short: You want slow corruption? play it now. You want to fap as fast as possible? Try something else.

So basically you will be controlling life's of a prince and princess who are soon going to get married. How a sudden tragedy impacts their marriage and how the environment around them corrupts them. I am writing this review based on v0.05:

Pros:
Amazing CG art's.
All rpgm maps are 3D and animated.
Spirit characters are also 3D
You don't need a walkthrough.
The side characters are pretty fucking hot!
Dialogue's are written pretty nicely.
It has detailed character stats.

Con's
Character's stats can be better.
Dick's are too big.
Every character in the game is too perfect looking.

I don't mind these con's because the game is pretty fucking amazing. A must play!

Great story great game, I love the character and background of the story. It's kinda addicted and I wish it's fully released ASAP. Can't wait to play it in full version. Feel free to follow and discuss the game

Personally not a fan of playing two protagonists at a time, but this game is really interesting. The assests, backgrounds everything has been used extensively well, the use of rpgm engine is done very neatly! Art is interesting and its very well rendered wherever it needs to be. Grammar is good, language used is easy and fun game. The story offers wide variety of tags, as the game is still in initial phase of developement, but story shows room for various tags in potential future for both the protagonists. Cheers! This game is pure excellence! An extremely well written story set in a medieval and magical world with realistic character development. It's a slow burn, which I would normally not like so much, but the writing is just so good, that I can't help being captivated and invested. I care about the story and the characters and I'm excited to see where this story could go. The writing hints at multiple possible plotlines, all of which are enticing. I hope the developer continues working on this game. I want to witness Isabella's development, from pious and frigid princess to confident, sex-craved queen.

Still very early in development so the rating is very short and superficial:

Pros:
+ nice story
+ very well written
+ nice renders
+ pretty, curvy princess
+ it seems there will be decisions to make
+ no annoying sound/music
+ even RPGM - characters looks unique (great detail!)
+ nice setting

Cons:
- atm i don't feel i play an adult game for real pervs and more some really romantic game with teenager fantasies (but this could be just the start to spice things up even more)
- too many young potent lovers who all look in great shape and age.
(even the "older" guy is just 35 and looks kind of good)


My perverted mind ofc hopes that some of the following things will happen in the future:
- father ones to protect his daughter and wants to spend the night with her that she lose virginity to him
- she will get attacked during a horse ride with her future husband and they both get splitted, him working as a slave on a ship , and she as some maiden to clean a house for a rich old, pervy man (something she didn't hope to get married to)
- grandmother will try pay thus to kidnap her
- she will get drunk in a tavern and wake up somewhere else and has to find back to her prince in a long and dirty story
and so on.

so many possible ways to make this great beginning and good looking game more spicy and kinky.
