I wanted to call out a few users who have made great contributions here. I would like to shout out mendiael, oaiki, SirLecherous, to name a few. Please do not think I don't appreciate others who have been long-time contributors. As I said in my last post in 2023, the deprecation of my GTX video card has led to me not being able to do any work in Daz in a meaningful way. If I get a few shekels rounded up, I may be able to buy a newer card that could support Daz3D as my main workhorse (an Intel Xeon E5-2680 is still up to the task given a sufficient video card. Again I can't THANK YOU enough for all continuing to add to this thread which is a valuable resource for Daz3D users.

I could gladly send you my idle gfx card for free (was finally be able to afford a used 3090 this summer), however my country's regulations make it impossibly hard to send out electronics hardware outside even if it is used or old

I was trying to find a car model, and I stumbled across this site.
It's a collection of various types of vehicles from different websites, pretty much in .obj and other non Daz/Poser formats. If you are looking for a particular car/vehicle to stick in the background or whatever, and don't mind playing around with textures, might be worth a looksee...
The site has a 'links' page that has links for a BUNCH of other sites, here:

I'm trying to get the assets for a comic idea just cooking... Do you know assets for a football coach office? for football players I'm thinking geared up for game or for trinning or at least wearing the distinctive sollege sport team member jacket.

could be the freebie you where referring to.During October, Daz gives away a new asset everyday (generally a vase).
The link was correct, but, weirdly, daz removes the product page immediately after, which is why you get a 404 error.
And the product that you mention is today's giveaway (but its page will be transformed to a 404 pumpkin at midnight).

Mini rant: Not really 'legally free', but I miss oldps.info and ps-ds.info. Losing them along with the loss of sharecg is annoying... And we've lost a lot of cool assets over the years to the attrition of vendors and said sites, say if you are looking for a discontinued base product for some old texture pack or something. Sure, there are other sites, but oldps and ds-ps had a really nice selection of vintage, often discontinued assets.
Anyways, if you are looking for free background images for your renders...
These are NOT HDRIs, and I'm not seeing any hdr options in the file type dropdowns, just .jpg, .png, etc., but if you need a simple background for a window or something but do NOT want to use HDRI, i.e. use sun-sky instead or something, there are a lot of interesting images to choose from.
As usual, do check the licensing notes for each image.
This site is also a great resource for vector art backgrounds, say if you are leaning into more of a 'hand drawn/cartoon' angle with your renders. I've probably mentioned this before in this thread somewhere. Also AI art, but of course this being a Daz Studio freebies thread, this may be less useful/more offensive if you are anti-AI or whatever. But if you are looking for images for a laptop/computer screen/flatpanel TV that's in your render or whatever, to enhance your visual storytelling, again freepik.com is a nice resource for such things.
