VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Freeloading Family [v0.32] [FFCreations]

Okay, I've been playing this game for a long time and I'm only rating it now - I don't know why. It started off quite ordinarily, with a few good-looking female characters, but it managed to build them up quite well with time. Apart from your step sis, you'll get to meet two other likeable female characters, and later two more. Each girl is quite unique in their own ways, and the game does not force you to choose among them. Even though the game itself is not focused on realism - the characters are almost too depraved to be believable - you'll find them to be relatable. There's enough depth to the characters to recognise them as human beings. And you'll grow to like them.

The biggest feature of this game is the constant teasing - making sexual puns and jokes throughout almost all conversations. I personally like it a lot - although that's not how people make casual conversations, what do you expect from an adult game? They sometimes sound a little cheesy, but most of the time you'll find them funny. Also, the game manages to pull off some funny sexual acts out of seemingly casual settings.

Over-all it's a lighthearted game that you just play and enjoy, there is no big commitment, no big taboo, no non-consensual groping, no big mission, no break-up, no saving the damsel in distress. Just play and enjoy.

This game became the best of my playlist, going so far that my girlfriend and i play it together( dont judge). Exelent story, beautiful character models whit lovable characters in general. God dialogs. There is not even 1 thing i can say againt this game. We can't wait to see more. Keep up the good work!

A fun and and funny VN with amazing looking girls and plenty of sexy content so far. The story can feel a little cliche but is saved by some great dialogue and great scenes. The characters each have their own personality which they mostly stick to and come across as mostly believable (in the realm of VNs).

Overall a great game!

Probably my favorite game on this site, I knew when I first played this game I was going to be a heatseeker.

Re-Review as of June 26, 2021:

What started off a decent, feel good story turned into a trainwreck towards the end of the series. The ending in my opinion is just as important as the beginning and the Devs really screwed that up. This game quickly went from great to poor in about a year.

In my mind, for comfort the whole gang never left the beach house, because the moment they did, and the Mc dad showed up is when the game took a turn for the worse, I've given the Devs every benefit of the doubt, hell even held back on my criticism, but the game in my eyes never bounced back to what it once was. Instead in turned into some unnecessary drama infested soap opera. If it was the Devs idea to show the player that life is full of hard decisions and choices, then they could've kept that shit because it's not a lesson that need to be taught, especially to the likes of me. Having just beat Covid and my potential demise, I look to games like Freeloading Family for comfort, not drama or ridiculous life lessons that I already know.

The Women:

We eventually had to choose between the 3 best girls. But there's a twist because each ending is different, each women comes with sacrifices unfortunately. Leah wants you to stop fucking around with the other girls and move to fucking Vancouver of all places if you wanna be with her. Yes Vancouver.

Alice also subtly gives you hints that she's ready to move to the next level in their relationship, causing you to eventually break up with Melody and not attempt to fool around again with any of the other girls, only for you to end up in a Poly marriage as Swingers, just a horrible decision as the Dev, you the Mc goes back to being the "Side Dick" of Alice to use at her leisure. It just was a bad ending now that I think about it, the Mc never really figured his shit out, and waited until the very end of their ending to become a writer lol.

Karina... Nevermind another bad ending, which served no purpose for me, just a guy trying to crack a super conservative girl out of her shell by mutilating her body. Hooray for freedom!!!

Melody is the game's saving grace, it's Ace in the hole, it's Trump card, whatever you wanna call it. This ending saved the Devs credibility for me, her ending looks spectacular compared to the others. There was growth, maturity, and options, which is important. Mc became a father and he and Melody looked adorable as a family. I kind of wished the same for Alice, but that about sums up this game for you, wasted potential. I get four or five years is a long time to be working on a project, and there's drama involved and things tend to get hectic, but to see this game go out this way is just plain sad to me.

I love this game. The story and characters are great. The wit between the characters is great and even made me lol a few times. There are a few spelling and grammatical errors here and there, but for the most part it's well done.

I only have two criticisms. The lesser one is PC's father. I have military in my family and know a lot of military and none of them act like that. I know it's done to make you hate him, but it's written as a stereotype.

My major criticism is how every female character outside of Leah's sister has the exact same body type. The exact same wide hip giant low hanging tit body type. That type doesn't really do anything for me personally and I have nothing against it, but every character...really??? That's why when you meet Leah's sister I was grateful for something different. Even then she whines how her tits aren't as big as her sisters. Thankfully genuinely liking these characters helps me ignore how their body models are all almost exact copy pastas of each other.

Overall this is a great game with a great story. I would highly recommend it.

This is by far the best adult/incest game that I've ever played.

The story is so beautiful, the characters such as you sister are beautiful, the game has amazing at work, I haven't seen any miss-spelled words, grammar is amazing, the convos that the characters have between one another are also very funny to read sometimes and just overall the game is amazing, there is honestly not one part of this game that I hated. I hope this game continues to grow and gets more and more updates! I love it <3

About animations, i don't think they are necessity for a good story telling. Personally i prefer nice still images from different angles that shows the expression of the chars and the act, than just one cam animation.

Beautifully done, well written

The characters are very well developed. The story is interesting. Some very funny lines. The protagonist doesn't seem like a complete douche like in most games of this sort. The character models are gorgeous. One of the better games that I have played. Really well done.

6/10 Golden Medium Way. Nice story. But gameplay? Lie on the skip and wait for the end. That's how it impressed me. Boredom. You can watch the scenes but I don't even have a shard that should bore into my memory. No tension, excitement, corruption. Just a nice comix.

The story and humor in this story is amazing. The characters are well developed and have many different sides. The flow of the story is wonderful. I can't stop laughing at the humor written so well into everything. The characters all mesh well together as one happy group. One of the better novels I've gone through. I can't wait to see what happens with certain characters and how things play out. Well done, and keep up the excellent work.

Like the renders in this game,also the different scenes in each update,I sometimes feel the updates are too short,could also just be my imagination.
Worth the download

For me, this is a 5 out of 5 game and It will be a good example for every VN game developer.

The character is the best module in VN games. Sister is the most attractive one in any similar games. Both of her inside and outside part is fantastic. And I hope we have more game has similar outlook of their characters.

The story is descent and considering. The plot is convincing and the option is neither too complicate nor too straightforward. I don't need a difficult or multiple-choice game-play as long as it has a good and decent script, and this one certainly have got an excellent story.

Somebody may not like the new update story and don't like the new character. For me, it is OK. I like developer give some new options as long as it doesn't ruin the logic of the story. So far it hasn't and I would love to give them more time to see where the story will go to.

After all, this game probably is the top 5 3D game now days and I would happily to be a patreon for the developer because of this awesome game.

Story: Everything looks good here, nothing to say, it's a love story with maybe harem option(i'm a soft person and the first run of every version will always be a vanilla with MC and Steph love each other with less interruptions(from other characters) possible

Graphics/Renders: High quality stuff, love it, aside Leah's lipstick(i don't like glitters XD)

Characters: Just so good for a game like this, MC is a bit passive and his dad is a major villain, in an annoying way, the king of backstabbers.

Bonus: Black Sabbath! a Jojo reference, i laugh for like 30 minutes when i saw him...and make me question if my life is actually a jojo reference bc everywhere i go, anything i play, somewhere near me there is a jojo reference! and i fucking love it!

so yeah 5stars! I love this game, is in my top3 of my favorite games(i don't decide in which position yet but top3 for sure)

Review of V0.32 [Completed]

The game went from being good, to being mediocre, with just the endings.

Alice/Main Girl: She becomes a therapist, after a few years of working, she gets depressed, quits her job, she does something different(that we aren't told), MC is just there, they keep their poly-relationship, but with occasional hook-ups for threesomes. I repeat:MC is just there, we don't learn much aside eventually he made peace with his dad(despite the awful backstabbing that his dad did, and after the dad still divorced MC's girlfriend's Mom during they honeymoon/cruise).

Leah: MC is just there, they live together, she is successful(as sport-journalist), not much else, she is happy doing a job he likes

Melody: Becomes writer of tv-shows, so She moved away with MC(who is just there), she is doing a job she likes and thrives with it.

Karina: She becomes a tattoo-artist, MC is just there supporting her in a relationship, they're happy

I can go on, but the point is, these endings are generic, and the main/first love interest ends up miserable with the job of her choice, but the others don't have any set-back or problem of any kind. It's boring and infuriating how MC is just dismissed in 2-3 sentences. Had to lower my rating.

Well, where to start... This is my first review, I am kind of new to these type of games, have a few dozen under my belt now and this is one of the first to really resonate. It is an amazing story so far, I am really engaged with the characters in the story. It has a lot of heart, and I can really fall in love with the characters and situations. On a more technical side, the characters are beautiful the situations don't seem too forced. It is fairly realistic and doesn't jolt you out of the situations really. A lot of games I have played make you feel like you are playing a game, this feels, I guess, more natural. I know the game is really linear, but even still I feel really engaged in the story line. I am really looking forward to the further updates, this is one of the most engaging stories I have played even with the fairly linear story line, which in this case is not a bad thing at all.

tl;dr This is a really good story, play it.

Awesome Game

PROS
-Sister/Roommate is one of the sexiest Characters in a VN.
-One of the Hottest sex scenes of all VNs
-Developer makes frequent updates and listens to feedback. Constantly tries to improve the game.

CONS
-*Spoilers* Game has taken a bit of a dive after finally banging Sister/Roommate. Future updates should go back to the previous formula and focus on longer scenes with Sister.

Nice Story with lot of comedy, well also like character design ("Alice especially "), but it can be increase in character development (relation between MC and Alice), maybe story about how Alice can like MC because it's like to sudden and MC not do much effort in getting Alice attention, for other character well not much problem since it's suitable with other character personality.

Overall it's quite good and thanks a lot for creating it.

I loved the story. I'm already looking forward to seeing the future update.
The story is well developed, maybe I regretted losing the figure of Susan so soon, I would have liked to see a little bit of BDSM in more.
I'm falling in love with the step-sys.

this VN is HILARIOUS. i hope someone who knows how to tag things tags this with humor. it's about a brother and sister's daily lives in school with their friends. there's really no central plot (yet) and everything is just one funny event after another.

by the end, it seems like the first real obstacle has been thrown at the brother and sister. definitely my favorite comedy VN of this year.
