The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.4...
This visual novel/game gives you a choice to be living with your step sister or just a friend, which is nice they offer that option...
The visuals of the characters are good... The backdrops are decent as well, but it is really hard to believe that the visuals are of a college... They look like grade school or high school pictures, as most colleges do not have lockers lined up in the hallways and don't use small inky dinky desks for their students... So the immersion takes a hit for most of the school backdrops...
The script has pretty good as I didn't run into hardly any spelling/grammar errors... The plot revolves around a male protagonist who lives with either his step sister or a friend (your choice), and attends a local college... His father is a career military guy, but he treats his son like dirt, getting upset when the son doesn't refer to him as sir this and sir that all the time, which is a bit overboard... The story basically follows the protagonist as he goes to college and builds relationships with different characters...
Again, the believability of some of the college student characters is a huge stretch... First you have a college professor who dresses in a slutty shirt, which is over the top, as most colleges have dress codes for teachers, and showing that much cleavage is way beyond normal for any female professor...
Secondly, you have a student who has insanely bad attitude, who gets in pissing contests with that same professor... Again way over the top, as that student would have been expelled way before that, as no college student talks to any professor like that and gets away with it for very long... The student who keeps kidding around with the protagonist is slightly believable, but even her personality is a bit much... The only two characters that have any sort of personalities that don't feel out in left field, are the protagonist and his roommate...
Thirdly is the whole paperwork signing thing that the professor gives the protagonist to sign... That is so out there, as everyone knows all paperwork like that would have been handled during registration, and not given out by a classroom professor... If it was a sports coach or something like that, then maybe I could believe it more, but that is not the case...
The story itself, is alright for an erotic visual novel/game, as it is basically the protagonist being presented with options for forming different relationships with all the female characters and/or going after sex with them... There is some hinting at his roommates possible sexual orientation... And that is about it for this current content...
Overall, I have a hard time believing the college situation due to the visuals as well as over the top characters... It ruins the immersion of any scenes involving the college, and those characters... Home life with the step sister/friend I don't mind at all, as either way, they are not blood related, so if they are having love/romantic feelings for one another, I'm all for it... As I'm a sucker for a good love/romance story... Will I revisit this VN/game? Most likely not, unless they can revisit all the college material and make it more believable, with both the characters and the visuals...
