Morrigan really cockblocked us from having a bad end with Midnight? That sucks, it'd be cool if TS went back and added an actual bad ending to that later.
Ah ok.I was irritated by the protagonist's reaction (I hate a lot of things about his communication, the MC from FwB1 is way better), not by Luna's suggestion.

I wouldn't say rushed or sudden myself, just a rehash of MLP FIM episode 1 part 2 with the player, Moxie and Morrigan chucked in.I'll add the ability to rename Morrigan, along with some other fixes and suggestions posted int his thread.
For those saying the ending feels rushed or sudden, could you elaborate on those feelings? I thought it had a decent pace and length at 15,000 words, meaning this finale alone makes up over 10% of the current story.
Were people just hoping for that part of the game to last a little longer? Or perhaps it's just because 0.7 doesn't have all the fun post-Castle stuff yet?

Hm... Maybe it's the story literally leads the character by the hand? In FwB1 we have at least an illusion of choice in good route and we can join Morrigan.The finale is as fast paced as it is
The character I missed the most was Augusta, in place so dark like this one I imagine her services would be appreciated. the general urgecy
I..huh, I didn't feel any urgency at all at entire walkthrough. What we are talking about? Some small earthquakes? Rainy (not all the time) weather? Luna in dreams (not screaming that MC doesn't have time)?there is the constant feeling of urgency
Urgency in like the protagonist, knows something terrible is happening to this world even though it seems a bit slow going as you pointed out. We still can hear around that darkness is growing around the city, so even it feels safe inside we are aware it will not last forever .I..huh, I didn't feel any urgency at all at entire walkthrough. This world seem damaged and corrupted by shadows, but it taken a thousand of years.. Melody did said something about how fast shadows conquered a bit of territory, but.. That's all? Nobody worryed about it, there are no oracles announcing the end of the world on the streets, there are no hundreds of refugees, there is no hopelessness in the eyes of ponies, MC having fun with different side characters, gardening.. It all makes it seem like the shadows are moving pretty slowly, and we have some years at least.
Maybe they believe that their queen is strong, and will protect Arcadia? But then why wouldn't I believe that she will give me time to collect virtues?
For me, urgency appeared only at the Castle1, flashed before my eyes without any my moves and choices, and abruptly ended, leaving me wonder "What was that? Oh, just a wind.."
Nope. Every time the conversation turns to this, something introduces a reason not to come back.Also the protagonist really wants to come back to the old world

Nightmare Moon was my first Waifu in MLP:FiMI'm going to give the finale a second pass, moving around events, fleshing out certain sections, and giving the cast more opportunities to interact. I'll try to add three h-scenes to it too. Don't think I'll do a bad ending though, I really like the idea of Morrigan herself subverting it.

The only thing I can think to suggest is make sure it's decompressed from the .zip properlygame does not run and errors out with traceback error every time

Namewise, Daybreaker becomes Eclipse, Demon Sunset becomes Dark Sunset (struggling with names here). Midnight Sparkle becomes Night Lily.
