Tried your save and indeed it's broken. Restarted a new game with your chosen outfit (T-Shirt and normal fit blue jeans) to make sure it's not due to some bugged clothing and works (played till day 5 to test).
Are you using version 0.1a? If so, maybe you continued a save from version 0.1?
Version 0.1 was bugged but 0.1a seems ok (played 3 times the content available so far without any bugs).

If it helps I'm using Vivaldi as browser (it's chrome based).

It is planned for the next release. In order to speed clean, the MC will have to sacrifice something though…. My way of making the player “feel” it. I have ideas. Just know that I know it’s a click fest and for this version that’s the intent.

Showering the first time didn't trigger the cutscene where the mc receives the body lotion (and thus preventing future showering) until I switched away from my main firefox browser with add-ons, etc. fyi

Thanks for the report. At this point I did suspect some kind of browser add on breaking this. I just have no idea what, honestly. I can see script blockers breaking the magazine since that’s almost all JavaScript, but no clue on the shower thing, that’s just plain sugarcube. I have tried so hard to replicate it without success.

Unfortunately it says I cannot load this save and that it is corrupted

that msg usually shows up when they tried to mod their save and changed something that they shouldnt have touched

Probably using an old save or you did not update to the latest game version. If not, your browser might throw up this error. There were several people in this thread where their browser acted weird with this game.

hmm only downloaded it yesterday. Tried it in Mozilla and Chrome with ad blockers turned off and had the same result each time. I feel like its more than a browser issue if multiple have the issue on various browsers. but at the same time, what do i know, im not a programmer

i use edge/opera works fine for me

Thanks for playing and I am happy you enjoyed what is there so far. I want to manage expectations and hopefully it doesn’t let you down. But, based on what I have going on, it’s likely a month or two out. Rest assured progress is happening but the release cadence will certainly be slower than most games.
