Hi! I would like to express my great appreciation for the fact that you are actively communicating and responding.

I really liked the original face of the heroine, for the first time it attracted me and made me play this game. Is there any chance that the face will remain the same? Maybe a mod or a choice or the only way to keep the old versions of the game for yourself? It's just about the face and its expressions.

This is true, ofc. Are the new ones on the left in your images? Not playing the update yet so I'm not sure, but seems to match what you mean with more canvas to be expressive with, as there's more focus on the face. Also like the hairdo better on the left images - sorry if I'm praising the old ones! Since there's a "kind of" sword-and-cape fantasy time setting, the hairdo on the right looks to have more styling, like what a lady of the gentry would have the time and resources maintain, the one on the left being more natural and fitting for her present situation. But it makes sense that Cass might also want to overdo a bit when going to town (no pun intended) or when taking care of a particular client. Not Danton or Kai, has to be nobility and above :p So the old look could make a comeback in those scenes, for those who liked it.

Hey there, thanks for your query! Sorry for deleting my original post.

I will not be maintaining two versions of the heroine's standing art. Not only would that be a time intensive effort and hamstring my desires for future standing art integrations (curtsies, sex with suitors, sexy dances etc), I just generally believe the new faces look better. I hope the comparisons below help assuage your concerns; I believe I was very faithful to the original Maiden of Jade!

All said, I'm sure an enterprising modder could replace all 45 of Cassandra's new standing images with her old art, as well as all 197 faces, but I won't be doing it. I hope you understand!

Thanks for the answer! Yes, I understand you perfectly, you don't have time to waste time on this and the decision has already been made. Thanks for the images for comparison.
I have already managed to get acquainted with the new face and its expressions. And for this reason, I decided to find out about the possibilities for myself. Maybe over time I'll be able to get used to the update. But so far, the original seems to me nicer and more suitable for the heroine. This is just my personal opinion and I hope that the majority will accept the update with joy. But I will keep the old version for myself, and I will be glad if there is a moder to replace it. Thank you for your work!

If you'll excuse me, I'll share an idea with you. Perhaps in this or the next game (it would be nice if it was, for example, a prequel or sequel) you can add this face for another heroine or for the same one in the sequel, prequel. It would also help you save time and resources, as you already have the finished material.
The fact is that I see my own allure and charm in the original image, and it is the originality of which is becoming less and less in our time of AI images. I don't mean that the new face was made with the help of AI. Maybe it will attract more players, I do not know. But in the original image, I saw something that I hadn't seen in other images, and that got me hooked.

That's kind of interesting. It was mostly my own inexperience in drawing that made her so, shall we say, idiosyncratic lol.

Well, I like the new one more and that's all that really matters in the end. She's much closer to my original vision of Cassandra that I had in my head, and thus I'm that much closer to realizing my dream of making the ideal netorase game.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Uhm, probably it was said at some point but this game desperately needs SOUND EFFECTS and some light tavern music in the background. Would go for such a long way. The drawings shows some decent artistic talent so it kinda just baffles me why was this missed. There's tons of free sound effects and free to use atmospheric music that could be used that would push this game from its current 5/10 to at least an 7-8 out of 10 (maybe even 9 with the updated graphics as well).

It's just a low priority for me. I always played my VNs muted in the past, so sound might be worth 0-5% of the grade for me while it's worth 20-30% for you. The story was my main focus, the art came second, and everything else was a distant third.

That said I am slowly making passes at the game to add bgm, and am presently getting useful advice from the fantastic Oinkkins for sex sound sfx! So that domain will improve over time.

Hi, just curious about kai content, is there any ntr sex with kai? or will have to wait for few more updates? I haven't played the game for a while and can't play till end of this year due to circumcision.

sorry to ask but apparently chapter 6 is being worked on so i assume chapter 5.5 has been released for patreon members? when will chapter 5.0 release for non-members (if officially at all)? im not familiar with the release schedule

5.5 is presently in development, 5.0 is out for patreons. Public release of 5.0 should be in about a week or so.

Okay I'm not done with this game yet but:

I was initially not too keen on this game because of the first impressions on the art(and the fact that I thought it was a management game), so I put it off for a while but, GOD DAMN, the writing is nothing short of sublime. It's crazy good. Sexy, has good banter and the characterizations are excellent. I've lowkey come to love the art as well.
Great game so far. Only gripe is that I wish there was more of a middle-ground between being a prude and an absolute netorase fiend. I mean there is one and it's still quite good but I wish the needle was slightly more centered. Great game regardless.

Thank you! So glad you're having a good time. The desire for a middle ground route has come up before, but there are simply some paths that I have to cut. There are already so many choices already. Hundreds. And I try to make sure each one has an immediate effect or an effect later in the game, no matter how small.

Hello! And hey I get it. I'm playing the willpower route for my first play-through, and as of the start of chapter 3, I am enjoying it quite a lot. I will save-scum a pervert choice to see a hot scene with no consequences so it's all good. I can imagine it's no mean feat making this. The love put into the writing is felt!
