Frontier Village of Sex and Adventure (of an Incomplete game).

Lack of interaction with heroines, very few secondary missions, scenario not complete, improvements for the city clearly missing (fences, empty land around), the map is empty (apart your small city there almost nothing), and the attack/defense of the city is also missing. (you can attack as much as you want, but you will never find yourself in a defensive position...)

The beginning gives you an good overview of what the game could offer, a scenario, interactions with the character(s) that interest you, build your own house and all the city. But from here, if you have more than 2-3 hours of play, tell yourself that you have covered what the game could offer. All that's left is grind upon grind.

Frontier Village of Sex and Adventure, was supposed to be a game with a lot of promise, the game you see, represents only 30-40% of what the game was supposed to be. Shame and sadness. 2/5

I can never understand the procedural translation thing. The fact that when reading, I have to wait longer because someone rather just force a translation application than put it through a translator and transcribe it annoys me to no end. Please pull the game and actually translate it or just accept all the 1 star reviews. low effort = low reward

I like character models, but I never like MC Shota.
The translation is not the best (MTL) but it translates fast enough so it's acceptable.
The game has a really too high necessary grind and after a while it starts to get boring as the game becomes repetitive.
    Not recommended.

Good concept, but I will always give a game with procedurally translation a very poor score. I hope that someone has enough time to translate this game because it looks amazing. Once it's fully translated I would love to give a fuller review.

first of all, I like grinding in my h-games. it's an effective tool in the dev's hand to enhance the experience and make it feel like the porn content is "earned" rather than "handed over". but there's grinding and there's an excessive amount of repeated actions to get the desired outcome. unfortunately, this game follows the latter.

The idea is pretty neat: instead of going on adventures and killing monsters, you're the town mayor. As they kill monsters and spend their loot in your town, you build new buildings, upgrade existing ones, and bond with adventurers. you can even recruit them for certain "boss" monsters occasionally. sounds good huh?

well, there are three major problems with implementation:

    - upgrading stuff takes a lot of gold. Especially later on. As you can't hunt monsters yourself and should rely on your adventurers, it feels like a weak auto battler. you're waiting for them to bring back loot all the time.

    - Each character has 5 stages of love and affection for you. you can use gifts and sex to improve this over time. Gifts are either weapons/armor/talismans (results of monster hunting) or food (results of farming and then cooking). loot has a pretty underwhelming effect and you need to farm A TON to cook good foods for affection.

    - Then sex comes in. You can't have sex with male adventurers (no homo). It should be easy to get female affection with sex right? wrong! The mayor is a wimp with non-existent stamina and if you want to effectively "farm" affection with sex, you should do it again and again and again and again, so your little boy can build enough stamina to make the girls cum. Also, positions are unlocked over time, so you need to do a boring mini-game 3-4 times to unlock a new position for THAT ONE GIRL.

    Conclusion:
the game has fun elements, but it's too grindy for most people. The character variety is quite good, but the h-content is rather similar between all of them. I give it 3 stars for its innovative approach, but the dev clearly dropped the ball in terms of balance and how the game feels to play.

I would do a more elaborate review, but between the bugs and how slow the translation is going, unfortunately I can't do more. As it is the game is unplayable, it's a shame because it looks good, but it remains only that.

The concept of the game is good adn art was okay too, but it's a shame that the game seems unfinished, it reminds me of Cyberpunk 2077. I hope the game developers fix all the bugs and improve the gameplay to make it deeper in terms of game mechanics.

TLDR: Game is not worth the amount of time required to unlock the animations or sex scenes, too grindy for little reward and a lot of the mechanics are incomplete or poorly implemented. Lots of game breaking bugs.

HEADS UP! - Many bugs in the game are apparently associated with the auto translator, so if you were playing a raw version of the game and never encountered these bugs, read this review with that in mind.

    Pros:
    Characters
Sprite animations (They are decent but not breaking any records either)
Management H-game: Always good to see one of these, even if they don't turn out to be good games.

    Cons:
Bugs everywhere make the game boring to play, if you play the balloon minigame 2 or more times in a single game session it breaks, the minigame screen never goes away forcing you to restart the game.

The long range units get bugged after some time causing them to not score any hits on the enemy, this means that not only are they not leveling or bringing in any income, they are pretty much soft-locked out of the village until a melee unit kills the enemy they are shooting at, if its one of the girls no interacting with her until she gets back.

Sometimes and specially if you already experienced another bug, the screen would fade to black after entering a building never to recover, forcing you to restart the game.

Housing!!! - Serves no purpose, the characters never move into their assigned homes nor it affects the story in any way.

The PC - Looks and acts like a freshmen, you carry a sword the entire time but you never fight or support you allies during the subjugation quests, it may also be a bug but it was never implied that you would fight in the first place so... any guess its as good as mine. Your stamina (How long you can go at it with the ladies) is abysmal, you need a lot of money to purchase the potions from the guy at the bottom left corner of the town to increase 10 miserable points at a time... for 10k gold each! so pretty much imposible at the start of the game when you need the money to upgrade the town.

To wrap things up, this game explored a very appealing concept for H-games but fail to implement it properly, resulting in a grind fest that yields no substantial rewards and puts mechanics in your way that have no purpose or that may alter the story and gameplay.

Good concept ruined by terrible execution.

The game is an idle village management where you equip and recruit adventurers. The auto-translation is terrible, the grind is tedious, it crashed multiple times (on the second minigame and when entering buildings sometimes). The sprite animations are poor quality and the rest are average. It’s just not worth playing.

Extremely buggy. Game softlocks after the 2nd minigame, probably the real time translator but its impossible to figure out what you are supposed to do, the NPCs are just running around doing something that isn't explained and then when you are told to do something by them, that event never actually happens so even more confusion as to what is going on.
