(Review based on v0.20)
How Long To Beat: 5+ hours
This is the ideal symbiosis of FNAF and erotic adult gaming. If you are a fan of FNAF, this will be your most fulfilling porn parody.
The game takes the basic premise and format of FNAF and redefines the tasks to maintaining the sex drives of the animatronics. Failing to maintain one of the sexbots results in a fail state with femdom sex scenes with the player character.
There is a story mode that acts as a tutorial. Each day for seven days you are introduced to a new sex bot with new mechanics. Some of these are maintenance tasks:, such as Fredrika will wandering around and turning off lights which you must turn on, or The Puppet who regularly needs her sex training task changed. Some of these are mini-games, such as Bonnie who hacks into your system, which makes you reroute the power grid. Some are observational, such as Chica who will wander around but freeze when being watched, or Foxy who is an exhibitionist and gets upset when she isn't being watched.
The tasks can be overwhelming, especially as the sex drives heighten, which increases difficulty. However the difficulty is challenging, never truly punishing or frustrating. The gameloop itself is very satisfying.
There is an arcade mode which lets you play a night with every bot active and every unlockable that you've earned at your disposal. While every story mode mission is self-contained, short and easy enough to drop in and play, the arcade mode provides an alternate way to play while still progressing.
There is a Currency System, where you earn money for successfully completing a night, and there is a Store for you to purchase items to make managing the bots easier or more difficult.
There is also a Toybox mode, which allows you to spend in-game currency on sex scenes or items to set up your own sex scene. This sounds awesome, but I found the interface clunky and unintuitive. For instance, I paid for a Fuck Machine and paid to play with Foxy, but I couldn't figure out how to get the two to interact. Maybe they can't. I don't know. There isn't a clear tutorial to explain it. I felt like I wasted in-game money on experimenting with the system.
There are seemingly hidden/secret sex scenes and costumes available, but I don't know how to consciously unlock them. I stumbled onto several, which was nice (since the fail sex animations get a bit redundant when you lose as much as I do). I wish someone would make a quick walkthrough to refer to, but I am not that person.
There are some systems and mechanics I still don't understand, and they aren't clearly explained, such as a FuxBucks CryptoCurrency mining item you can unlock. It seems like it can earn you more money, but it also seems to make me inevitably lose to ClapTrap, a wandering robot who follows sounds.
It's a bit of a shame that hard work and planning went into mechanics that are ultimately obtuse from lack of explanation. The experience would be improved if there was an in-game reference book to explain these mechanics.
Despite obtuse mechanics, this game fully delivers on it's premise and the gameloop is satisfying. The ToyBox system could use more explanation, but it has a ton of options to unlock.
Highly Recommended, but there's still room for improvement, although it doesn't look like the game is getting updated anymore.
