I hope this site burns to the ground after Dec 17. I wonder how many people actually goes to tumblr for nsfw contents?
Tumblr literally exists because of its NSFW content. This rebranding is going to kill the site.I hope this site burns to the ground after Dec 17. I wonder how many people actually goes to tumblr for nsfw contents?
Could you give a few examples?Who cares about Tumblr. There are plenty of other sites to get the good stuff without hassle anyway. For me Tumblr died back in 2011 when I discovered better sites. A lot of content on Tumblr is taken from other sources anyway. I'm surprised Tumblr didn't kill itself ages ago.
I totally forgot that tumblr even exists until recently. It used to be my go to site for NSFW content until 4 years ago.I hope this site burns to the ground after Dec 17. I wonder how many people actually goes to tumblr for nsfw contents?
A lot of great artists used tumblr as their primary platform: InCase, Erotibot, Calm, Witchking00, Cute Sexy Robutts, to name a few. Also some people with games posted here or who have had their art comissioned for games use it too, like Chelodoy and Syvaron.Who cares about Tumblr. Here, here too hell with Tumblr, may they rule the day that they turn there backs on NSFW contents and any website that doesn't have the gulls to support NSFW contents on there site. Keep your eyes out for Patreon one's they have money they'll turn there backs on NSFW contents. I say we support F95zone and have everyone whose NSFW on Tumblr come here keep it running. Here, here May God Save F95zone & NSFW! (Cheers)I hope this site burns to the ground after Dec 17. I wonder how many people actually goes to tumblr for nsfw contents?
A lot of good artist upload there, but it is not as bad as the 3d artist. I follow several 3D artists that make NSFW models and gif that are really high quality, they archive their stuff in Tumblr. Now they need to find another place to archive.Who cares about Tumblr. There are plenty of other sites to get the good stuff without hassle anyway. There is a problem with Blogger (a.k.a. Blogspot), in that, while they do allow adult content, they don't allow you to monetize it. (SeeI guess the next question is what actors like Blogspot or other providers will do when the undesirable content bandwagon jumps from tumblr to their sites.
And here's the facts that come with this :As for how their incompetency caused their app to get removed in the first place is another matter (years of awful moderating of their own site and a truly terrible algorithm for checking for CP).
Starting this date, they thought a lot about the problem, and apparently came to the conclusion that they have no way to effectively protect themselves against this threat. So,Every image uploaded to Tumblr is scanned against an industry database of known child sexual abuse material, and images that are detected never reach the platform. A routine audit discovered content on our platform that had not yet been included in the industry database.
What is "adult content?"
Adult content primarily includes photos, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples, and any content—including photos, videos, GIFs and illustrations—that depicts sex acts.

Written content such as erotica, nudity related to political or newsworthy speech, and nudity found in art, such as sculptures and illustrations, are also stuff that can be freely posted on Tumblr.
Blogspot actually already cracked down on adult content; I think you can still put up your own content, but stuff like giffing porn and camgirl videos that a lot of tumblr pages did is not allowed. I think a few adult artists are still on blogspot but they mostly jumped ship during the initial crackdown. This censoring of the Internet the last 4-5 years or so has really gotten to me. I've been aware that technology companies would de facto hold power over much of societies interactions and artistic output for a long time, even before it actually became the case, but I never imagined that they would be the ones to enact massive censorship of that output. Hopefully we can figure this out before the whole internet gets sanitized.I guess the next question is what actors like Blogspot or other providers will do when the undesirable content bandwagon jumps from tumblr to their sites. Nobody's proud of being the hot spot for IRL dog incest or whatever, and certainly nobody wants to have any government agents show up asking about all the undesirable content that keeps showing up on their platform.
Anyhow, it's not something I would ever want to have to deal with. There's also the old axiom that the internet interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. Dunno if that's unquestionably going to stay true into the infinite future.
Tumblr operates on an opt-in model, just like reddit, so technically their advertising was just on your page, and it had nothing to do with the content you curated, so as long as you stayed away from the adult stuff, your tumblr page wouldn't have anything that made advertisers wary, and if you wanted that stuff you'd still get served ads regardless (if you didn't use an ad/script blocker, that is =P). I saw a great post somewhere about how they should have done what reddit did, which is make it basically impossible to access their NSFW subreddits on their mobile apps without heavy workarounds. But instead they did the lazy thing and gutted their whole fucking site.Tumblr only makes money from in-app advertising, so when their app got removed from the apple store, just letting it sit around as-is didnt make any sense. I know its hard to understand but this was the only logical conclusion from a business standpoint.
As for how their incompetency caused their app to get removed in the first place is another matter (years of awful moderating of their own site and a truly terrible algorithm for checking for CP).
Super unfortunate that they took the "easy" way out... We'll see how well that works for them...And here's the facts that come with this :

Hopefully they don't all go behind Premium, I know a few, mostly SFM artists, who have.Pornhub said they will take everyone who works on NSFW contents in. I love Pornhub, what can those of the NSFW Tumblr Guys & Gals say but move to there website.
Is this his stuff:boombadaboom aka fapfriendly animations got taken down early and I have no idea how to find him now. If anyone finds anything it would be apreciated.
Also, from the sfm artists I regularly check up on, twitter is going to be the new thing, not pornhub. I don't know if twitter works for uploading stuff, so I guess hosting is going to take place elsewhere.
Yeah it is, but what I am looking for is his new place of directly uploading and interacting with fans.Is this his stuff:
