As much as I do love RectZoom because for a while it seemed like the only application that could really fullscreen anything there's a new contender on the block that really is just better in every way from ease of use to speed. You can get the tool here for free.

You can find RectZoom here if you want to try it out but I personally don't recommend it as my main gripe with RectZoom is that it's kinda slow when it comes to refreshing the screen. I enjoyed cracking and translating it at least.

Are there any notable benefits or differences between the main build and the fork here?

I don't remember where I was recommended the fork's link from, but it seems it hasn't been updated in a bit, at least compared to the main.

Looking at the commits on that fork the only thing that might be a benefit is some better scaling models for anime related stuff. Personally I would stick to the main as I can't imagine the difference would be massive.
