Fullscreen renpy issue

So I have made a renpy novel and for some reason when I try to run it in fullscreen using the preferences menu the game just disappears.

It doesn't seem to crash or spit out any errors it just up and disappears but you can still hear the game audio.

I have tried everything and searched everywhere and have had no success.
