Yes. The dev has still been working on updating the game, although last month sucked for him. According to what he had said in his latest post, he lost a lot of important files related to the game on a drive that gotten fried due to a snowstorm. Though it's not critical or catastrophic in any way, it's a setback nonetheless. Not only did that happen but he also lost a loved one in his personal life.is this getting updated?
Also, he briefly talked about adding Desktop Mode before closing out on that note:FuroticVRDev said:Work on the game must continue though, so in spite of everything that's happened I'm gonna keep plugging away and try to get a new build out for you guys later this month with a functioning penetration system, and maybe some improvements to the audio.
FuroticVRDev said:Also the other day I decided to look into the possibility of adding a desktop mode because a lot of folks don't have VR headsets and I keep getting asked about it. I discovered late last year someone made a headset emulator for the VR interaction framework I'm using. This plugin turned out to be easy to implement, and you can now walk around in the game using keyboard and mouse, and if you hold down Q or E you can even move the hands and even select menu items with them. A little work needs to be done so you can select the menu items just by looking at them because using the hands to do this is a bit janky, and I need to implement a method to trigger teleporting. But I should be able to get those functioning properly later this month. If you've already got VR this news might not be that exciting for you, but adding a desktop mode will hopefully entice more people to support the game, and that's really important to ensure I can continue to work on it because this is my only source of income at the moment.
damn dude... thats very sad... hope he is alright.Yes. The dev has still been working on updating the game, although last month sucked for him. He had this to say in conclusion to his poor experience in March:
Also, he briefly talked about adding Desktop Mode before closing out on that note:
Use of someone else's property should either be by agreement or license, that the rules of use are listed in the license itself. If a product uses materials for which the owner did not grant permission for use, problems may arise. These can range from a simple request to remove the item to a full-fledged lawsuit.
i know the artist that made this models, does it mean that you can add any model made by other peoples too?
Yes but you can noclip on desktop. Hear the guide.Yo is this game VR only...?

I can't really get scenes or characters to work.Yes but you can noclip on desktop. Hear the guide.
Yeah same here, i'm just walking around with the camera controls, can't select/change anything :/I can't really get scenes or characters to work.
That's because Enot's "fix" regards the camera only, by the looks of it. It's essentially free cam, where you just move the headset around the "play area". You would still need a controller to do anything within the game.Yeah same here, i'm just walking around with the camera controls, can't select/change anything :/
Eh? How so- i've tried looking up the game confg- trying to use the keyboard but nothing seemed to change (i didn't mess up the program keybyding tho- cuz i didn't know how to use it after doing the tutorial in the folder) but yeh, nothing changed besides me floathing around...That's because Enot's "fix" regards the camera only, by the looks of it. Unless if I'm missing something and you can rebind the keys within the menu to work as a "makeshift" controller. Correct me if I'm wrong, in that case.
The game is just bad. Unoptimized asset dump. The animations are not worth seeing at all either. The characters do not at all line up even when it's just them. It's on par with a quickly rigged gmod character port.I've got a Rift S and this game lags a ton. Is it my computer or is this game not compatible with the rift?
That's a lot of words for "If it doesn't have desktop compatibility, then it's probably shite."Because it takes time and resource to develop and juggle between two modes? It’s like saying a developer who is making a table tennis VR game should make it playable in non-VR when it makes zero sense. People who has VR wants VR focused games, not as a half arsed mode that is treated as second thought. Rather than trying to satisfying two sets of audience, a lot of times it’s better to focus on one. Also, people with VR headsets tend to have a high software attachment rate because the technology is still at its infancy, meaning there aren’t many games or application developed for the platform yet hence less competition for the developer. Think about it, if you were developing a low budget game which you probably know is pretty bad, would you rather release it onto a saturated market where there's already millions of high quality games, or a smaller niche market with low number of games but filled with desperate buyers?
Yeaah i saw that the dev released destok ver on patreon, now we need someone to either share it here or wait till someone share it on kemono.partyWell author made an settings for desktop, unfortunately I haven't found it on any website right now to download it. Even in kemono.party
