Thanks for the quick fix, I also had the history error. My save was 2 pictures for end Ch 15. There was one more error which I ignored, after which it worked. "4803535_" I couldn't find it so I just added the fix.

Ah, yeah, when you just click the file it gets the number added, right-click "save as" seems to not do that, I guess. :)
My save was from somewhere in the middle of chapter 15, maybe there was an issue that was fixed in a later part of the chapter. Would need more saves and reports to have more info about what the issue could be. *shrugs*

Good to hear that the fix helped, though!

Doesn't look like a mod issue. Something is wrong with the dialogue history (what can be seen in the "History" screen).

But, you are right, the first few chapters had some savegame compatibility error and I think that even recently there were code changes to early chapters, which would make saves fail. Maybe there was a change in the used Ren'Py version, as well. Not sure.

Anyway, if you don't have a working save and want to skip through from the beginning: Your error seems to occure in chapter 3/4. So, skipping to the choice "Tell a dirty 'yo mama' joke", should get you roughly to where you were.


Edits:
I wrote a file that might fix this specific issue by creating the missing attribute in the renpy.store. I can't guarantee, that there isn't another issue after that.
  1. Download the attached file
  2. Remove the "4803535_" from the beginning, so that the file's name is "zzhistory_fix.rpy"
  3. Place the file into the "FurrHouse-Chapter16-pc\game\" folder and try to load a save.

This has no sound at all, it's not funny and the content is very bad.
You're probably in the wrong thread. I assume you wanted to post in the game thread itself?
For FurrHouse, I clearly remember there being music and some sound fx. There's like a 300MB audio.rpa?

Constructive feedback is always appreciated, though.

I checked the current content normally but the old content only rudimentary, since I'm a bit sick (again, I know, shame on me).

If there are any issues with missing choices, let me know. Though, I might respond a bit slower than usual.

Alternatively, you can remove the mod and use the "_no_ui" version, which should restore the original say and choice screens.
I'll see that I do some math when I recovered from my headache and cold stuff, to move the textbox next to the side image properly.

Mod is updated to chapter 18.

There's one choice that will have consequences later in probably different scene variants. To which extend they will differ I don't know yet. I labeled those with "Impact unknown for now.".

i'm not getting any hints during the choices. as far as i remember it used to show you stats that increased/decreased on choices. I have the choice mod on which i suppose should be responsible for it?
