Played this game a bit... Noticed 3 oddities:
1. You can put up a tent, but there is no option to sleep in it. You can't see anything at night. Тhere is no bonfire or torch, so this is the only reasonable option, because waiting for the morning is too long. However, the developer did not provide such an option.
2. You can create male and female characters... however, there is no option for vaginal sex between them... oral 'n' anal only..!? Are you serious?
3. There is no interactive map. Even during the day you can get lost and confused... And at night? At night you are considered completely blind and it is pointless to even try to find anything.

press tab, you can change the day there, move it forward or backward to return on day time, for now this is the only way to skip time and able to see clearly what you can do. I know it's annoying, but the game was a demo after all and that's why I removed it from my other games list. I'm not going to play this game until a major updatePlayed this game a bit... I've done three entire loops around the whole island and I've seen no indication whatsoever of a statue being around. All I see is rocks and trees and pebbles we can gather and the stones that we can't even mine.
What's the statue supposed to look like? Maybe that'll give us some guidance into what to look out for, otherwise this demo is pretty bad
Upon closer inspection I found that some versions are easy to run..so there is no need to stick with the old public version.
Of course it is not the latest, but .. at least something.
Patreon versions are often unstable, buggy and sometimes even with broken save system, but there is more... gay

I did notice they changed the whole "invite campers to island" thing, but I swear it also doesn't work. Even built the port and multiple tents, nothing. Can't even use a tent to sleep for the day, if that's even a thing yet
Yeah. It doesn't work. However, you can still use a mechant, which functions like the original wish statue (spawn NPC).
But it's funny how NPCs react. When you wave to them, they wave back..or handshake (press "B").
Also under F12 you can find some helpful tricks.

I've also noticed, while looking deeper through the website with the name that shant be mentioned, that it now uses Patreon to confirm if the person that got the build is supporting them. Fair move, but I highly doubt that someone will make a single burner account just to access and pay him for it. Wonder if that can get cracked one way or the other...Ok.One more.0.42 build added..
0.42 is the last full offline build (auto-updater can be blocked by firewall). And then the dev stopped releasing full builds and start forcing it through that crap Launcher only.
Either way, it seems they're now up to build 0.49, still requiring the launcher.
