There are movements, people are writing petitions in talking to their elected officials to do something against this stuff. In the US there's a proposed bill against internet censorship, and in the UK they're trying to get some MPs on board as well, but I don't remember any details. Don't know what the situation is like in the EU or Canada, haven't seen any posts about it from there. Me, I'm in Eastern Europe, so saving my porn collection is literally the only thing I can do.
