I think the simple answer is that shemale was never very popular, because it doesn't appeal to straight men (or strictly gay men for that matter), whereas futa became popular because it appeals to straight men*. But the fewer people into shemales are likely more seriously into shemales than most futa-enjoyers, who I think have futa as a side-preference to ordinary straight sex. This is not enough to attract players' attention and get us to the top. However, we will still finish and release the game! There are many options for devs to get it up for Germans...steamkey, gog, itchio, patreon.... However since I already addressed the issue, but the dev ignored me, I guess it is not planned to release it any other way than on Steam store.
