[sigh] I hate to say it, but... Vanja's art is the epitome of "complacency with mediocrity".

Their art, over the last decade or so, has had the characteristics of a new Tumblr user's first foray into the world of professional artistry. Either they just have no desire to improve their visual quality (which would match their lack of desire to make a different type of game); or people just seem to be happy with this decade-old art style, which just begs the question of why. They're just stagnating—there are better-made games with better artists behind them.
