First you need to build a Blacksmith area. Then you need to progress through the Frozen Mountain sidequest storyline to unlock reforge option. After that, when you modify an equipment, you have an option to instead reforge the item.
We've never encountered this before. Does restarting the game or loading older saves not help?

The biggest distinction between A-rank and S-rank characters is the presence of unique Side Stories tied to each character. Most A-rank characters only have a Random Event associated with them where you get to lewd them. You also don’t need to worry about save transfers. Your saves carry over from one version to another. However, keep in mind that if you delete the app from your Android device, all save files related to it will also be deleted. That’s just how the Android system handles data. As for updates, we generally aim to release a new version every 7–9 weeks. Based on the number of weekly Patreon updates since version 1.6, it’s safe to assume that version 1.7 should be released relatively soon.
