Why not just play the game and learn the in's and outs as you go? This game isn't like those other games that get updated piece by piece since it is already complete.

Also, is there any way of farming gold? I'm getting just like 12 per battle and I got past the desert to a town up there where they are asking for 1k gold to get an armor or like 500 for a weapon. I'm past the cave where you need the sacred flame and I might go back to farm some more. They are demolishing me with 18HP hits lol

While I don't ask for full saves, but, at least for me, it's because I don't want to play the game part, I just want the porn part. Or if I have played the game part, I didn't get all the scenes. I'm here for the porn bits, not trudging through mediocre to bad gameplay for good sex scenes. And almost all h-games have at best mediocre gameplay, it's just there as filler between scenes. Especially RPGMs.

And to the people that'd reply "just look at the image files", the images are only part of the reason I, and I assume others, like h-game sex scenes. The other part is the dialogue.

you can use the cheat engine,

brave armor the strongest armor in the game can be obtained at the end of the destroyed town south of the desert/bunny town,
the enemies there are really strong tho, so its best to grind & buy 9 healing/escape magic rope potions.

To add on to that - I just don't have time to play most games on here, even if I do stick to just my own hyper-specific niches. And when I do have time, I prefer to peek ahead to make sure there's something worth playing for. It's not as big a boost as "just CG vs CG and description", but actually going through the game and building up to the scene is significantly better than just getting the scene, when the gameplay and general story is decent, so I do like to do it when I can.

Though, on that note, one thing that really annoys me about "gallery modes" (beyond when they don't exist) are ones that start at the beginning of the first CG/actual sex bit and ignore the immediate buildup to the scene. I think I've only ever seen one game give an option to go straight in or see the immediate context. Scene setting is still important, even if I've played the scene before!

Sounds true to old Dragon Quest, to be honest. In those days the 'grind' WAS the game.

Here is a few tips for people that aren't explained in the game

Don't use the warp item you can buy in the shop it crashes the game and there is no autosave function( you get a skill later in the game that lets you warp and that doesn't cause a crash but getting around until then is annoying especially if you die)
The dark rotor lets you walk on poison tiles without taking damage
The light rotor gives you a passive HP regen effect when you walk in the overworld
To break the rocks you need the brave condom equipped (which you get right before the fight with the dark lord so don't go out your way looking for a skill shrine like I did)

Use cheat engine to give yourself as much gold as you need and most importantly enable speed hack because the walking speed in this game is atrocious genuinely the worst part about the game.
