I'm sure it's obvious that this is the first step in a long process. There are quite a few things to fix, as you can tell. But, every great adventure starts with a single step. I'll be learning and working on more over the next few days.
The game is still considered abandoned because I cannot guarantee future updates or substantial progress. However, I have not abandoned hope that I can still do some work on it and see if I can pull something together.
I love my project and the characters in it. Everything I make will usually center around those characters, whether they’re one-off images or animating something new.
Alright, so... my thoughts.
I'm not too happy with the outcome. It took 2 hours to render 1 image at 1920 dpi, which is MUCH smaller than I usually render at. If one character and minimal environmental assets is too much, then it's gonna be a LOOOOOOOOOONG process.
So, what I think I'll do... is learn Blender. Maybe I can update a few of the "optional" scenes with some swank animation. I've always wanted to render Bryn in her solo scene on her bed (Bryn 1 scene if I remember correctly).
If I can get that to work, then I can work on some more. Which is now making me curious: Which scene would people really like to see animated? (NOTE: It has to be a scene that's already done and published. AND it'll be after I work on Bryn's scene.)
ifc need to be the sisters and the mc....or the mom and boy love scene ...well half of love scene,,,
shit forgot to tell you ....welcome back hero....stulldoesnt understand why to upgrade to a 5090 if so many ppl still have lot of problems with it...and for thte price i would put a half machine only for rendering ...at least for 3k will be a good machine...im pretty sure u can find a nice one for that price and less witha 4090 or 80...

I built this new PC rig because my other one is in storage. Plus, I love building PCs. My company gave me a nice bonus a while back, thought I'd spend it on something nice.

Now that I'm able to render properly, I should be able to get some more work done.
Note: I should probably start adding watermarks or something to these images when I post them, huh...?

My pick would be that early scene, when Eva gives MC a massage. Specifically the part when he shares his feelings towards Fiona with her. Until you get to choose to either skip or continue with the lewdness. Like I mentioned before, that is my all-time favorite
It's been a while since I've done something with these three together. I think when I reinstalled the program and all the assets, I tweaked some settings by accident.
I have to tone down MC's skin detail, and I remember Bryn being a little taller than MC. So, some things to fix but overall... happy.

Inner Demons is awesome and following this thread is even more awesome, Gray. Question: This was your first game ever... how much dev experience did you have when you started this?

Zero experience. I know I can write stories well, and have a good imagination. Plus I come from a graphic design background from a LONG time ago, so I know what to look for in my images (even if they seem a little too dark in bright light).
I just looked for whatever process or something I wanted to do, then tried to learn how to do it. But honestly, Osanaiko is the one who gets a ton of credit for alot of the project. Osa's the one who proofreads the script, suggests ideas, and figures out the real complex coding.
yeah im pretty sure u and osa did a nice work here but imagine.that for one second u are a true dev tream working on this game and others ,well i can see u being bigger tham many of other big games...i cant understand yet how freshwomen have that massive subs and patreon ,the game is ...good at best,..this one here is so much better on many category's ,at least this is how i see it,in my fantasy list this game is the first, and maybe my third or 4 th in the all in all cat.....if it was finished ,maybe my second......but that justhopes and dreams....

Whoa! Thanks for the reply, Gray. That's amazing and inspiring. I had no idea you had partner help you, sounds like Osanaiko was a key addition. I am in a similar place... well worse. I am an experienced writer but I have no design skills, Daz might as well be martian to me but I dream of creating a game just like you out the gate. I have a story/game idea (that at least I think is good) and now I am combing the forum, watching youtube videos, and in the early stages of just playing around in Daz. Would you be so kind to throw any advice my way that can turn these characters I have in my head into 3d renders at least half as awesome as yours?

All I can advise is... just do. I literally learned Daz as I was making the project, just like Ren'Py and python. I learned how to pose characters, what assets work, and how to render. It's literally just about using the programs and patience.
Just want to say I love that you're still working on this. It's my favourite VN and one I go back to every now and then and then get sad that it had been abandoned. Good luck with the new process! Anything for more Fiona and Rhona content.
