It's either get one update per 8-12 months or that.I stand by my point of "It should not be your main source of income." As for people who see THAT as cash grab level efforts well they're twats. I personally am an unpleasant asshole most of the time but if a game dev I liked just came out and said his options were either to for some reason of the day censor their work so they can use patreon to make it their full time job OR take their time and do all that I'd say take your damn time. Not saying this is you but compromising your art for the sake of money to me means you just dont give a shit about your art.
And the amount of support that games with long update cycle have is big only when it's already well-established Dev: Philly, PinkCake etc.
Dudes who start with big update per 6+ months cycle - Red Dust Games, TLGGames etc are nowhere to be found now.
If someone put thousands of hours of work - he should be paid for that.
I don't mean to sound rude, but you remind me of dude who comes into a bar at 9 PM and gets mad that his order for Long Island Iced Tea takes 1 minute longer than expected despite bar being full.
Anyway, this argument has no point.
