VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Game of Hearts [Ch.5 R2] [SparkHG]

A hidden gem. Renders are amazing, animations are good, a lot of detail goes into clothing, lighting, music, but above all, it features very sexy and different characters, ones that don't love MC automatically, and that have their own views and restrictions. It is really fun to try and retry different approaches with each LI, but above all it's a very sexy and entertaining story, more interested in breaking its characters boundaries through pleasure than in a fantastic mystical eternal war.

This Game is on a whole different level. Not only the faces and bodies are much more realistic than in 99% of games, the main difference for me is the atmosphere that was created. For me, this VN is closer to a film than anything else. You really feel with the characters.
the last sequences are a little bit hard to understand and seem rushed. But I hope there will be a Season 2 that sheds more light.

One of the best Adult VNs I ever played. The Optics are amazing. The Character design is interesting and not the usual blend, I love it. Then you have a good story that has you wondering without drama that leads nowhere. This really is game that should be in most peoples top 5 at least.

There is a lot of text but not annoyingly.
Basically this game about corruption progress with only one girl but there are three others.
Graphics 3.5 out of 5. It's good but with poor post processing. You cant see pores on skin cause texture resolution is poor, many scenes have strange face expression right from garris mode, but girls have natural forms and overall its very pleasant to play.
Music and sound. In many scenes there are lack of them.
Interesting to "play" and worth to goon on it but it's not the best.

Love me some Netori, but honestly the graphics were way too good! Hats off to this dev and hope that his future project do well! I hope he keeps the trend of stealing and taking other men women to his other games as well, haha!

This game is a bit overrated, I think. The visual renders, character designs, and NSFW scenes are great. The facial expressions were kind of weird during scenes, though. Animations are kind of average.
The thing that I didn't like is that there is barely anything with regard to plot mentioned in the synopsis. The whole time is spent on a single character, which gets boring, also, I didn't particularly like that character, and there is just too much monologue in the NSFW scenes, which just makes it annoying after some time. The game mechanics are also awful
What could have ended in 1 chapter is stretched throughout the whole game.
Also, I kind of felt like this game was short.
Well, nonetheless, amazing work by the dev; I hope the next part will be much, much better.

Loved this game. You can clearly see the effort that put in this game. However I think the ''Meredith'' part was too long and after some time it got boring. Seducing a woman and making her worship you, shouldn't last this long. So that we can focus other things.

Also many things don't come to conclusion and that doesn't satisfy me at all. Like man, in the end we couldn't even say goodbye to Julia. I know she's not dead and we spoke a little through our minds but I would love to hug her or physically contact her for the last time.

Since there is a war, I think it would be great to see some action. We use our demonic points to seduce woman. I think it would be hella dope to gain physical strength and beat that bald demon's ass. (please)

It might sound I have many complaints about the game but no. Everything else is good.

Great graphic and even better story. I wasn't really connect with the story from the beginning. But after playing through, I can confidently say that this is one of the GOAT of AVN. Will definitely wishlist and buy the game on Steam when it release.

After taking a couple of days to reflect on my time with this game I feel I am ready to say this was not only a thoroughly enjoyable experience but I am also very excited for the continuation, with some elephants in the room I need to put down in writing. One is a full elephant the other is more like a baby elephant who is just kinda wandering about gently nudging furniture out of place.

So front loading with what I enjoyed, I was really engaged with the story concept, having demons and angels be part of the world just as a matter of course and they have their own particular ways of gaining power that are tied in with humanity so they wouldn't just want to wipe them out is a very interesting idea and I desperately want to see more of how that plays out.

I really enjoyed the method of corruption/tempting and I'm glad that we as the main character due to our specific upbringing and lifestyle before being brought back into this conflict that's brewing err toward not just making slobbery lust ridden slaves but are mostly just putting our heart into taking people we start falling for so that was also very engaging.

The characters are attractive, both younger and older and the renders during the erotic scenes were for the most part fairly compelling as far as that part of this kind of content goes, this is where the tiny elephant comes in and it is mostly preference but Meredith just wasn't too my liking, they don't all need to be supermodels but we are sort of living out fantasy here and the fact that sometimes it felt like the faces being made were created specifically to make her look as butter faced as possible was a little disappointing especially since so much time was spent on her. I will concede that later on once the deed is done her face when smiling and content is more endearing, but still she feels a little out of place. Before we reached the end I was kind of hoping that part of the story would be her getting into shape a little more for our benefit to get rid of a bit of that saggy cheek look. I digress, that part is not for me but I will acknowledge it may be to other peoples tastes but there it is.

Bigger elephant has to be the fact that I needed to get that separate mod to update the grammar. A big part of VN is the writing and if I have to go elsewhere to get a smoother version of some of the writing and dialogue that keeps in line both tenses being used and fixes typo's, that aren't the end of the world but certainly are bumps in the road that I have to step over, then I believe its enough to bring it in full as a criticism. This is really the only reason I knocked a star off. I do get that sometimes time crunches happen and you don't want to take forever when you have people wanting to see the fully finished product even in an environment where you are being directly invested in by fans, but I would hope that in the next game there is a few more run throughs of the script to make sure no one really needs to have to go back and help smooth it out after the fact. That being said seeing past the grammar hiccup I enjoyed the character dynamics and the way everyone meshed together, some for supernatural force reasons and some just because. I was particulary invested in Julia and Ruby and their interactions since they both had some baggage that they were clearly dealing with and I couldn't help but want to comfort them. I do wish we could have seen more of Maxime as well. Considering she kicks us off I felt particularly protective of her and I was hoping we would have some more in-depth conversations about how she wants the rest of our lives together to go and what she thinks she might want to do now that her path is so different than before. I hope we get more into that in the sequel, along with maybe a little more structure to the harem and how everyones roles fall into place. The lines seem a little fuzzy as of now which I can't really say is a fault because this is early days and we as the character were focused on a goal in particular so there wasn't a lot of time for people to fall into their place in the family.

Beyond that I am excited for the next game, I want to see the characters grow and I want to see how this narrative is going to play out now that more pieces on the board seem to be moving together now.

Oh man this is easily one the best ever, the story is a masterpiece that i think this will be on my mind for at least a month. Truly perfect on every aspect except that it ending. Believe it or not but i actually play this game without sleep, that's just how hooked i was. I can't wait for your next project or the continuation of this one.

Simply my favorite VN on the platform and among my top 5 overall games this site has to offer as well. You can see so much dedication from the renders, to the character, and the story itself. It was genuinely hard to put this down and I can recommend this to anyone on the site. Rarely have I felt the need to check a Patreon, but this one sucked me in so hard I felt wrong not supporting the further development of its sequel. This was made by a guy with a full-time job by the way.... He's struggling to make this his main gig so any exposure from reviews would probably help. Sexy milfs + Sexy demons

Amazing game where you slowly corrupt and influence woman into obsessing over you. The scenes are really fun, although I mostly just tried giving them endless orgasms (love mechanics like that)

This game focusing on corrupting Meredith to become infatuated with you so that you can grow stronger and not be weak in the upcoming succession wars.

The beginning for Meredith's story is finished. The overall story is just beginning

Excellent netori game. If you are a fan of the genre this is a must play for sure. Even if you aren't you should give this one a try. I don't think you'll regret it.

All the renders are HQ and incredibly well done.

The story is very engaging and it still feels like a real porn game. There is very little downtime between each sex scene, but you still learn a lot about the characters. Obviously this is only the first part of the story so I guess most of the characters will be further fleshed out in the sequel(s).

It's an awesome decision to give the player choices for scene variations. I haven't tried them all, but there are some mini variations and some more impactful ones. This must've been a lot of work but it is highly appreciated.

Easy 5 stars for this one, no question. Definitly one of the best games on here.

I've played countless of games with this "Demon harnessing power" theme, but this one executes it so FUCKING WELL.

With how the story unveils it has some substance to it. It ain't forced whatsoever-the pacing is just PERFECT with how the harnessing part was explained it almost hard not to be hooked with the characters.

Gameplay wise the minigames are the highlight, we can choose what we want to do, it is really a Game of Hearts. It's either to love or to lust, attraction vs. corruption, a really good way of delivering a minigame.

And to top it all off, the models are phenomenal, it's rare to see games with women with realistic proportions. SparkHG's renders served them right the lighting was top notch!

This game resembles at first sight, the style that I appreciate.
I hope SparkHG continues to have such a good imagination about the whole story.
In any case, I can't wait to play the sequel to this great game.

... as a game:
* Good story. The plot is interesting and there some plot twists. It would be excellent if the end wouldn't be a bit rushed.
* Excellent dialogs.
* It has music but no sounds nor voices.
* No bugs. Perfect performance.
... regarding its erotic side:
* Character design outstanding. The renders are very well done, all girls are hot af. Besides the girls has their own personality and you can know them.
* Scenes are excellent. The but is you will want more ha ha.
* Animations good. Maybe the worst part of all this block.
* There are music and sound but no moans nor voices.
* Has NOT gallery mode.

A "must play" for everyone that I can't give it my 5 stars because has not gallery mode (which I think it's a standard nowdays). I hope the developers fix this and I'm already looking for the sequel.

I started my vn players career from Milfy City and Being a dik so expectations were quite high for all these games. After playing through some 15-20 games, I discovered that I really started from the wrong end. I enjoy good storytelling, nice graphics and especially animations, but overall I wish to feel like I can influence the result.

The story really got to me. What I want from these games and VN's, is to take me away from my current life to another one. Escapism simply. This story puts you in a powerful position, and really gives you the feeling that you are influencing on your surroundings. I only played through once, but kept saving and loading to get the desired outcome.

The graphical side of the game is approachable and somehow familiar, don't want to call it realistic. But approachable. The models are approachable. You can see, that time did it's toll and towards the end the new models are not that diverse, or I got the feeling that something is missing. Something new, that this developer could do, if given the necessary time and tools. But overall these models are great and I think you can find something different for every taste.

What I really enjoyed was that you can play around with this game, and choose your approach. Fullfill different kinds of needs, that you have in you. Choose your playstyle. As some folks earlier said, there are some strange icons and meters especially during the end, that are not explained. Their points are obvious (sad/horny meter) but the purpose is left unexplained. This also gives the vibe of rush, but overall I enjoyed this game very much.

For a completed game it feels CUT SHORT

I loved Game of Hearts. Very strong storytelling (outside of a few weird time jumps). The story, renders, characters, dialogue, and sex all play into eachother well, working together to draw you in and spice things up. Your choices seem to be more about tone than plot, but tone is one of the game's strengths. Everything coalesces to enhance the experience, which is rare in AVNs.

You play Red, a modern day young man who has just discovered he is a demon. A conflict you cannot understand is taking place, imperilling your life. You have to get stronger, and demons grow in strength by obtaining worshippers. You must seduce women and get them to abandon their old lives for you, or else you will be killed by rival demons. Apropos, your heretofore absent, self proclaimed demon dad explains just enough to set you up with opportunities to get stronger and stay alive.

The game's primary focus is on scenes with a curvy, innocent, married MILF you must bring around. How you approach the path to her corruption changes who you are and how people respond to you, but not your goals. Some may be turned off by how realistic this woman looks, but it's a nice touch to have a woman of a body type and age typically left out of AVNs be sexy and attractive. It made the fantasy feel more real and impactful.

You also get to play with a rich lady in her 30s or early 40s and some 20 year old looking demons. Each scene is well thought out and tends to build up from previous encounters (and as part of the plot) in a very satisfying way.

You can easily get attached to the three main ladies over the course of the game.

The modern fantasy aspects do a lot of work here, not just in nicely revealed (or concealed) lore and world-building, but also in explaining how the typical AVN tropes can even occur. Red's incredible sexual prowess, the special draw he has on women, his unearthly pursuasiveness, his enoromous cock and killer good looks? Demonic power, obviously.

Not everything is perfect. There are some odd transitions (including the narrative time skips mentioned above). At least one potential player decision is ignored by the narrative. A couple of the ladies are underwritten in comparison to the main three (though they are likely to play larger roles in the future). This being the first episode of a longer story, there are some dangling threads we have to assume will be addressed later. –I am definitely looking forward to House of Hearts.–

The sequel set-up also means we don't get a satisfying denouement after the climax. Specifically, we don't get to see what life is like for a demon or their worshippers once a contract is ritually finalized. Since that's an important question brought up throughout the game, it's a little disappointing to see it go untouched by the end. One assumes later editions will get there, but a taste would have been really nice. The game is primarily focused on the small story it is telling within a larger epic. After the climax, it shifts to previewing bits of the bigger story without enough closure for the episode, and this feels like a mismatch.

Also, the minigames are a bit opaque in their point and grading systems. I'm not sure what most of the numbers and bars meant. Sometimes scenes don't have them. Sometimes the scoring systems are entirely different from most other scenes. I don't know why. I ultimately decided to ignore them and focus on the interplay between the narrative, dialogue, and choices. That worked pretty well for me. Even without understanding the metrics, it feels like you'd have to go out of your way to lose any of the minigames, but I didn't test that because I was enjoying the game's progression.

This is still a great game. If you're looking for well written sex scenes and corruption, surprisingly romantic elements, or a focus on MILFs, this is about as good as it gets.

Also, the epilogue made me cry. So I had to go support the dev on Patreon. Keep up the good work!
