VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Game of Hearts [Ch.5 R2] [SparkHG]

Disclaimer: I played with both the "Optional Grammar Patch" and the "Framerate Mod," so my impressions of the writing and visuals reflect these mods.

This game absolutely oozes lust and sensuality. Everything — the dialogue, the interactions, the characters’ actions — radiates desire. The story stays mysterious and I still don’t know where it’s going, which is a good thing here: the suspense keeps you hooked. At times it leans heavy on exposition, but overall the plot is solid and a revelation about a character’s origin landed with real emotional weight. That cliffhanger at the end made me want the sequel right away.

Choices do matter: they influence scenes and steer you toward one of the two possible endings, and the little mechanics during sex scenes are a nice touch. That said, replayability feels limited — once the mystery is solved, a second playthrough won’t have the same tension. Also, some relationship jumps felt abrupt (a week passes and suddenly things progressed) — not sure if it was a threshold thing or a consequence of choices, but it broke immersion a little.

Visually this one is gorgeous. The renders and character detail are beautiful, and I liked the variety in body shapes even if the overall cast size is small. Animations are smooth, backgrounds are immersive, and most shots are close-ups (which suits the game’s sensual vibe). The sex scenes are intense and well-executed — not a deep dive into kinks, but perfectly on-theme.

Bottom line: strong mystery, powerful visuals, and a sexy atmosphere that does what it needs to do. It leaves questions, but in a way that makes me excited for more rather than frustrated. If you’re into sensual, suspenseful VNs, this one’s worth your time.

• Story & Characters → A mysterious, well-written narrative with a a good twist and strong character intrigue, though sometimes exposition-heavy. 8,0/10.
• Player Choices → Choices affect scenes and endings and add weight, but replayability is limited once the mystery is solved. 7,5/10.
• Visuals & Animations → Stunning renders, smooth animations, and immersive backgrounds; one of the strongest visual packages around. 8,7/10.

Must be one of the most engaging stories on the site. I regularly struggle with skipping through games because the dialogue or stories don't appeal to me much but with this one. I didn't skip a single time. I really liked the characters, their designs, their backstories, and the entire plot.

this game made me read and liked it instead of skipping and fapping, the renders are amazing with a lot of details in the skin and eyes, the girls are gorgeous in a diferent way and have a well defined and charming personality

This game is truly excellent.

The three female models are each very unique and different, and sexy in their own way. I love the story behind each of them.

The game play is also very unique where you can upgrade your power to make them orgasm more.

All in all, this is a very excellent game.

The best Part of the game will be the gameplay, it keeps you interested. The graphics is realistic and has a good grounded quality that the dialogues and storyline also has. All this complements each other and keeps the entire experience something that is worth your time.

So I just want to get this out, if you are looking for a good story and amazing visuals, this is the game. But there's a big BUT, the game sets up characters and situations that are not really solved or developed, and makes them to be developed in the sequel, so I can't really recommend this game in good faith till the sequel is out, as it feels like you played just to be left with that bad taste in your mouth of "Where is the rest?", If this doesn't bother you at all, then it is probably one of the best AVNs on this site.

TL;DR: Great renders, milfs that look like actual milfs, great pacing and build-up that pays off, no grind or years of waiting to get to the action, game entirely focused around seduction and character interactions, amazing intimacy, you will nut. 10/10.

I'd already written one, but accidentally closed the stupid review pop-up and I cba to write some proper essay, so if shit feels disjointed just deal.

The game is narratively and mechanically focused on seduction and sex, it is the majority of the game, and it's the most deep and intimate way any game has approached it. You get a ton of small choices you can make during the sex scenes, which have amazing build-up and foreplay, including narratively, emotionally and physically. The game's entire plot focuses on this and it doesn't feel superficial, cheap or gimmicky. It's well written, and the story is told and progresses through interactions with other characters which almost all have sexual undertones or a thinly-veiled intimacy. This is masterful, as not only do you get to build and explore the protagonist, setting/world, and other characters, you also make progress in getting in someone's pants.

This might sound funny, maybe a little ridiculous even, but the game does a terrific job at keeping you engaged and turned on, while also keeping you interested in the story and characters. I want to know what happens next, and how these characters cope even - the moral and emotional repercussions, all that while also busting.

Extremely intimate, seduction is the main theme and driver, *everything* focuses around it, and that's why this game works so well and is in my opinion the best porn game. No grind, no annoying mini-games, no superficiality, the sex (as well as the entire game) is incredibly well paced, foreplay and build-up is amazing, and there is an interactive element or trick to the sex - you make numerous small choices in how you get the other person in the mood which keeps you engaged and builds up the atmosphere really well, it enhances it.

Game looks great, amazing models, milfs that are hot, but also look like actual milfs. Great lighting, decent animations that are well interceded throughout the scenes to add some life to them. I think it strikes a good balance, as not everything needs to be animated, they serve the pace well.

Downsides. The story is clearly not finished, and it seems like a sequel (or maybe a few) is needed in order to do that.
The main mechanic's stats can at times feel superficial (I'm not sure if you can even fail?), or like they're a mirage of sorts, but I can't really think of a way this could be fixed. It seems like a delicate balance and I feel that overall they serve the game. Likewise with the upgrades, I haven't actually tested if skipping them gets you negative consequences, so I can't be sure, but even if they are an illusion, they serve to make the player feel that the protagonist grows in power and skill as the events of the game unfold. I can't put my finger on it unfortunately, just had a slight feeling that something was off once or twice, but in the end I can't imagine the game without them, nor can I think of a "fix". Might be just me.

All in all, greatest of all time, unless you really don't like milfs, I guess.

Game of Hearts isn't the longest game, but it is a strong adult game with plot.

If you enjoy supernatural type of stroylines and harem, then this game is for you.

The h-scene renders are great and each character has their own personality. The storyline is pretty straightforward and you should be able to get the h-scenes in one playthrough. A big plus for the game is the h-scenes are unique using a choice mechanic that has +/- stats based on your action, I am unsure if it's possible to fail the choices.

So good!! My only complaint is that I wish it had more content. The art is beautiful, the story is engaging and the content is steaming. I didn't care much for the story with the other demons, but it's fine.

A hidden gem. Renders are amazing, animations are good, a lot of detail goes into clothing, lighting, music, but above all, it features very sexy and different characters, ones that don't love MC automatically, and that have their own views and restrictions. It is really fun to try and retry different approaches with each LI, but above all it's a very sexy and entertaining story, more interested in breaking its characters boundaries through pleasure than in a fantastic mystical eternal war.

Looking forward to the sequel!

This Game is on a whole different level. Not only the faces and bodies are much more realistic than in 99% of games, the main difference for me is the atmosphere that was created. For me, this VN is closer to a film than anything else. You really feel with the characters.
the last sequences are a little bit hard to understand and seem rushed. But I hope there will be a Season 2 that sheds more light.

One of the best Adult VNs I ever played. The Optics are amazing. The Character design is interesting and not the usual blend, I love it. Then you have a good story that has you wondering without drama that leads nowhere. This really is game that should be in most peoples top 5 at least.

There is a lot of text but not annoyingly.
Basically this game about corruption progress with only one girl but there are three others.
Graphics 3.5 out of 5. It's good but with poor post processing. You cant see pores on skin cause texture resolution is poor, many scenes have strange face expression right from garris mode, but girls have natural forms and overall its very pleasant to play.
Music and sound. In many scenes there are lack of them.
Interesting to "play" and worth to goon on it but it's not the best.

Love me some Netori, but honestly the graphics were way too good! Hats off to this dev and hope that his future project do well! I hope he keeps the trend of stealing and taking other men women to his other games as well, haha!

This game is a bit overrated, I think. The visual renders, character designs, and NSFW scenes are great. The facial expressions were kind of weird during scenes, though. Animations are kind of average.
The thing that I didn't like is that there is barely anything with regard to plot mentioned in the synopsis. The whole time is spent on a single character, which gets boring, also, I didn't particularly like that character, and there is just too much monologue in the NSFW scenes, which just makes it annoying after some time. The game mechanics are also awful
What could have ended in 1 chapter is stretched throughout the whole game.
Also, I kind of felt like this game was short.
Well, nonetheless, amazing work by the dev; I hope the next part will be much, much better.

Loved this game. You can clearly see the effort that put in this game. However I think the ''Meredith'' part was too long and after some time it got boring. Seducing a woman and making her worship you, shouldn't last this long. So that we can focus other things.

Also many things don't come to conclusion and that doesn't satisfy me at all. Like man, in the end we couldn't even say goodbye to Julia. I know she's not dead and we spoke a little through our minds but I would love to hug her or physically contact her for the last time.

Since there is a war, I think it would be great to see some action. We use our demonic points to seduce woman. I think it would be hella dope to gain physical strength and beat that bald demon's ass. (please)

It might sound I have many complaints about the game but no. Everything else is good.

Great graphic and even better story. I wasn't really connect with the story from the beginning. But after playing through, I can confidently say that this is one of the GOAT of AVN. Will definitely wishlist and buy the game on Steam when it release.

After taking a couple of days to reflect on my time with this game I feel I am ready to say this was not only a thoroughly enjoyable experience but I am also very excited for the continuation, with some elephants in the room I need to put down in writing. One is a full elephant the other is more like a baby elephant who is just kinda wandering about gently nudging furniture out of place.

So front loading with what I enjoyed, I was really engaged with the story concept, having demons and angels be part of the world just as a matter of course and they have their own particular ways of gaining power that are tied in with humanity so they wouldn't just want to wipe them out is a very interesting idea and I desperately want to see more of how that plays out.

I really enjoyed the method of corruption/tempting and I'm glad that we as the main character due to our specific upbringing and lifestyle before being brought back into this conflict that's brewing err toward not just making slobbery lust ridden slaves but are mostly just putting our heart into taking people we start falling for so that was also very engaging.

The characters are attractive, both younger and older and the renders during the erotic scenes were for the most part fairly compelling as far as that part of this kind of content goes, this is where the tiny elephant comes in and it is mostly preference but Meredith just wasn't too my liking, they don't all need to be supermodels but we are sort of living out fantasy here and the fact that sometimes it felt like the faces being made were created specifically to make her look as butter faced as possible was a little disappointing especially since so much time was spent on her. I will concede that later on once the deed is done her face when smiling and content is more endearing, but still she feels a little out of place. Before we reached the end I was kind of hoping that part of the story would be her getting into shape a little more for our benefit to get rid of a bit of that saggy cheek look. I digress, that part is not for me but I will acknowledge it may be to other peoples tastes but there it is.

Bigger elephant has to be the fact that I needed to get that separate mod to update the grammar. A big part of VN is the writing and if I have to go elsewhere to get a smoother version of some of the writing and dialogue that keeps in line both tenses being used and fixes typo's, that aren't the end of the world but certainly are bumps in the road that I have to step over, then I believe its enough to bring it in full as a criticism. This is really the only reason I knocked a star off. I do get that sometimes time crunches happen and you don't want to take forever when you have people wanting to see the fully finished product even in an environment where you are being directly invested in by fans, but I would hope that in the next game there is a few more run throughs of the script to make sure no one really needs to have to go back and help smooth it out after the fact. That being said seeing past the grammar hiccup I enjoyed the character dynamics and the way everyone meshed together, some for supernatural force reasons and some just because. I was particulary invested in Julia and Ruby and their interactions since they both had some baggage that they were clearly dealing with and I couldn't help but want to comfort them. I do wish we could have seen more of Maxime as well. Considering she kicks us off I felt particularly protective of her and I was hoping we would have some more in-depth conversations about how she wants the rest of our lives together to go and what she thinks she might want to do now that her path is so different than before. I hope we get more into that in the sequel, along with maybe a little more structure to the harem and how everyones roles fall into place. The lines seem a little fuzzy as of now which I can't really say is a fault because this is early days and we as the character were focused on a goal in particular so there wasn't a lot of time for people to fall into their place in the family.

Beyond that I am excited for the next game, I want to see the characters grow and I want to see how this narrative is going to play out now that more pieces on the board seem to be moving together now.

Oh man this is easily one the best ever, the story is a masterpiece that i think this will be on my mind for at least a month. Truly perfect on every aspect except that it ending. Believe it or not but i actually play this game without sleep, that's just how hooked i was. I can't wait for your next project or the continuation of this one.

Simply my favorite VN on the platform and among my top 5 overall games this site has to offer as well. You can see so much dedication from the renders, to the character, and the story itself. It was genuinely hard to put this down and I can recommend this to anyone on the site. Rarely have I felt the need to check a Patreon, but this one sucked me in so hard I felt wrong not supporting the further development of its sequel. This was made by a guy with a full-time job by the way.... He's struggling to make this his main gig so any exposure from reviews would probably help.
