This game what is posted from the OP is the OLD demo this will not get updated because its stopped the screenshot from @ShadowXAXA is the NEW GAME. Ofcourse it is again only the Intro but i like it more then the old demo!

It's not completed, the author said it's out but it's 5 minutes of gameplay. Saw someone question him and he said quote "Game is not only about gameplay, it doesn't matter how long is it but how many artworks it has, ofc we can make it for 5hrs with same artworks but would you play? I guess not. Don't worry, you will see more really soon "

And i would question the content qualifies as "gameplay". It's a proof of concept, nothing else.

Many do not make alls ne demo.

Patreon is a nice idea but not suited for games since developers are actually rewarded for dragging their projects out for as long as possible and never really finishing them. If you still want to support someone go ahead, just don't expect to get a finished product out of it.

That goes for most of them. But there are good ones too. I really have to mention the guys from the game Towergirls Kingdom Conquest. They put so much love into their work and i would probably lose the tiny little hope i have for humanity if they would succumb and join those degenerated filthy devs you spoke about.

Sure, there are exceptions, but not too many. There are also a couple of games that never were real Patreon projects and only used it to get the money to commission better artwork.

I'm not trying to paint all Patreon devs as scammers or anything along that line. My main point is that the way the platform is set up works much better for artists and such where new content can be enjoyed on its own without the need for a larger project (game) to be finished.
