I could've sworn there was a game hosted here about owning an inn and selling your wife. The story is that your inn is failing, and then new laws are made heavily increasing taxes and banning prostitution, and so you have to scrape by or sell your wife to make extra money. It's not Inn My Wife, it didn't seem like a Japanese-made game.
If you could help identify the game, it'd be appreciated.
