I been playing some NTR games lately and I really dig the stories. Perhaps due to the strong emotional buildup, the bittersweet endings, or downright terrible endings. However, one thing that turn all these agonizing painful outcome is a tiny ray of hope in these games. It's obviously difficult to get a good ending for the MC in some of them but when it do, it felt satisfying (to me). Such as A Promise Best Left Unkept. That game was fucking brutal. The buildup and constant emotional drama. If you able to stomach enough of the pain, it felt the good path for MC was certainly rewarding (anti NTR/revenge). Either way, NTR is unavoidable, but you the MC, still win in the end.
Anyway, I want to know if there are more games where you as the MC need to win their love interest back, prevent their love interest from going fully corrupt, or save them. An oblivious MC is fine too, even if the love interest is still sleeping around, they still put the MC first over their own depravity, that's still acceptable. Meaning the love interest value their lover above all else including their lust.
Again, the difficult struggle is a rewarding ending for the MC, not despair. NTR, non-NTR, visual novel, or actual gameplay. Doesn't matter. Actual gameplay preferred though.
