Seeking Game with massive amount of content

The Last Sovereign is supposed to be the longest-ass ero-game of them all. Regular updates for 4+ years, some people saying 100+ hours of playtime. Doesn't hit my fetishes but I know it has one of the best writers around.
Lessons in Love and Dark Magic. Both have more than 30 hrs of gameplay(afaik).

I don't get why people like that one so much, I've played it for around 4 hours, and it's honestly not bad, but also not great or anything.
The writing isn't anything extraordinary, it's kinda average, just ok.
And the characters are likable enough, though not interesting or captivating by any means.
Idk maybe I'm just confused since I went in expecting something that would blow my socks off and I just found it alright, nothing more.
Maybe I'm still too early in the game ?

I'm not the one to ask, I got more into the writer's other game, Kingdom of Deception. I didn't play TLS long since it just wasn't doing it for me fetish-wise, but I did enjoy the characters, and I know it's one people play for the story and such. Maybe ask in its own thread.
