Games isn't a good media format for porn

I've never been a fan of porn games and I want to understand why people enjoy it.

I've come to think about this with the artist Animopron's game currectly in WIP.
He is developing a third person action game kind of like Tomb Raider. With this example in mind, I don't understand how can porn and games work well together.
While playing porn games do you hold your d*ck/p*ssy in one hand and your keyboard or mouse in the other ?
The goal of porn is to jerk off so how are you supposed to do it whilst playing a game ?
I understand that there will be cutscene with only porn and no action required but then why bothering making a game if the best part is the movie part ?

The only argument I can think of to counter my point is : 'Playing the character in between cuscence could create better immersion'
So I guess the playing part has to be separated from the cuscenes part. For me switching between these two parts would break the immersion.
It's like trying to merge two medias in one it doesn't stick together.

I can understand VR "games" porn has long as it is close to a first person film. You benefit from a better immersion with VR and upgrades from a classic video.
Which complete my point that only films/book/images --> Media that don't require actions are great for porn.

I think video games are working well only thanks to cutscenes part. Otherwise how would you imagine a porn game that is action only ?

One-handed edging can be great. Or just fapping to specific scenes when they happen. If it's a VN or anything that can be played just with a mouse, there you have it, although you'll need to use your non-dominant hand. For games that need two hands, you just play them normally and go to town when a scene happens.

Action games can be fap-friendly too, but most of those Japanese ones are made by hacks. When the MC is being violated after being knocked down, it can and should be a looping animation that just goes on until the player presses a key to continue. Instead most of them make you do a button-mashing QTE with Game Over if you fail; some have real-time gameplay *during* the sex (stuff like LonaRPG) which also defeats the purpose. I don't know what they're doing over there in the Far East, but it doesn't seem like they're fapping to the games.

I guess most of us are more easily immersed in porn games than porn videos. Therefore, it's easier to get aroused with porn games, even if the cumming part is sometimes outside of the scope of playing a porn game.

While I think this is bait, and at any rate one of those "you either get it from the get-go or you won't catch it at all" type deals, I agree that you have the wrong premise. If you only see porn games as a medium to fap to, then go watch a porn video. It will be endlessly 'easier', less convoluted and less time consuming.

Most people enjoy the arousal and build-up of games, the deeper immersion and psychological connection with the characters, world and story, or simply the gameplay itself in some cases! I should know, I did some challenge runs in Ayura Crisis as the game is legitimately polished and fun enough to allow it.

Interactivity increases immersion. Immersion makes the story more impactful. Intellectual and emotional investment makes the orgasm better. Some games have one-handed controls. Some games reduce to one-handed controls during sex scenes. Unfortunately, some games straight-up don't have gameplay.

In an ideal world, you'd have a USB fleshlight controlled with either the keyboard or mouse.

I've also played sex heavy games that require two hands to play that are just plain fun.

Since now I know you were being serious and you are simply an animation enjoyer, then I'll say why I stopped wasting time with pure porn comics/animations over a decade ago.
