I'm always up for some good lesbian focused bdsm recommendations (especially if MC can be a switch... though I usually prefer sub), but for the purpose of this post I'm more interested in the actual game mechanic rather than the genre.
I can't think of any other VNs that had such a dynamic and fun way of doing dialogue choices and I'm curious if anyone else has played something similar. I'm also curious if there are VNs that have done a similar mechanic has it been executed well.
If you have not played the game (stop reading and go play... lots of fun) then the gist of the mechanic is that multiple choices for dialogue pop up and float on screen while also some wait to show upm while some others might disappear. This mechanic is great for immersion because something your character is less likely to do won't show up as an option unless you wait a bit as your character is considering whether or not to do it before responding, or possibly something your character used to do but hasn't been doing much recently would pop up right away and then fade away, or maybe MC gets threatened and have an option to submit that slowly fades away as the MC grows a backbone and fight back option shows up.
I think it makes the story and game feel much more immersive than the normal renpy style.
I've seen a few HTML games that have a timed or disappearing response, but the ones I've played usually don't feel as dynamic or well executed as LKIAB was able to pull off due to amount of text needing to be read before responses.
