The game already had a decent bit of content, but at the same time it felt a bit short and limited in some areas. I absolutely loved the art style and mechanics however. Are there any games that have a similar feel but are longer or more elaborate?

I wouldn't say this has MORE content but Rignetta's adventure is inspired by waterspoon - the creators of Wings of Rondela.
