My pc broke and was thinking about getting a chrome book because it’s cheap can qsp, renpy and rpgmaker games be played on it

I don't use a chromebook, but if you're using one of the upper-end ones (used loosely), I'd have a hard time seeing it not play Ren'py games at the very least.
Chromebooks, outside of some of the newer ones, run on what is essentially stock android. Just in a different form factor. Which means unless said game has an .apk file, you'll need to emulate with JoiPlay or something of that sort. But as long as the game isn't to graphically heavy, I have a hard time not seeing it run Ren'py games when my old
