Recommending Games with interesting start

I'll start this topic to talk about new games that I find more interesting in their promises than most of the others and I'd love to see growing.
It can help people who wants to try some games from their beginnings, and it helps me to not forget some ambitious titles or crush I have.

My english is terrible, I'm already sorry for that. (It's also mean that I won't notice if the english of these games is bad)

I will talk about games with one/two/three updates with one exception because it's an hidden gem for me. They all have less than one year, and most of them are from 2022.

Lost at Birth

+ Girls look is just amazing. Kailey (blonde) and Cas blew me away.
+ The MC seems like a good and interesting man. He does have a complicate relationship with his wife and I want to see what will happen between them.
+ The dynamic between Kailey and his supposed father was really natural in this first release when they were at restaurant.
+ Then again, it's beautiful.



Tune in to the show !

+ The main idea of the game. To have like a reality show in one house.
+ That corean girl.. totally biaised here. (She does have to much boobs)
+ Maya is cute.
+ Characters seems well defined, their dynamic could be interesting.
- The only other guy is ridiculous.
- Right now girls seems to kind, and I think you need some troublemakers for a story like this. Could be resolve, it only has one update tho.



Summer Heat

+ Good looking girls especially Sophie, Bree and Mia. (+ Sexy bodies)
+ Humour, girls are fun (Bree) but the joke with the dating app in the first chapter got me.
+ The "horror" tag. This setting could be appropriate for a slasher story.. wait&see for now the atmosphere is chill except when Miller is here.
+ Mystery ? Some characters seems to hide secrets. It intrigues me.
- 2 updates but we don't have much content for now, still early to have a real opinion with this introduction.



Vinovella University

+ Dat ass

+ Really captivating plot, with mystery everywhere. With a variety of situations because the MC has to becoming friend with different type of people.
+ Good looking girls again.
+ This investigation board.
+ Same universe then fetish locator but you don't need to play it. I heard that it takes place before.


The Seven Realms

+ Another story about vampires but I found this one more inspired than many.
+ Already have goods lore elements.
+ The mystery about the main girl situation.
+ Charismatic MC.
+/- Not bad renders, but not at the same level as others games here. The main girl is still good looking.
+/- Every games with this type of plot I played are abandonned, I wish him to continue till the end.



The Entrepreneur

+ Lucy
+ The dynamic between Lucy and the MC. She reminds me one of my best friend... except I don't want to sleep with her.
+ Lucy
+ Not the most unique story we've seen( and I can mention Food Truck Story who could have been here) but interesting to follow. With some darker moments.
+ Valentine is cool too.


The Swordbearer

+ Promising medieval plot. The continuation will depend of how ambitious is the dev for his story.
+ Beautiful girls with outfits that fit the the setting. The atmosphere is good overall.


Secrets of Whispering Pines

This one is far more advanced than the others but I want to talk about it because it's underatted.
+ Horror story. You have to know what you're going to play. It's somewhat creepy at times.
+ Interesting mysteries, we want to investigate and are invested in the game.
+ Really captivating. When you start to play you don't want to stop till the end... 10 hours later.
+ Antagonists play well their role.
+ It's fucked up but in a good way.
+/- There is animated scenes but they are average. It's really not the main focus of the game though.
- The MC is the sheriff but is pretty stupid at times and lost battles (even if most of them are surprise attack) too often.
- Lolis. I don't like incest but I don't want to put it at as a problem however loli content is something that I have trouble to tolerate. They have 18 from the story viewpoint but they looks like young teenagers. You can avoid them obviously but it still disturb me.


That's all for now. I hope it could help some people two find some new hidden gems or future big hits for some of them.
It's my taste obviously not everyone will like it, but they have all at list some interesting points.

In my opinion, Broken Promises is worth being in such a list of potential gems.

Uh... Isn't it the one that ask you to chose the age of one of your daughter but you can't write a number above 14 ? (while able to write 8 and the girl looks more like 8 than 15...) Such a pain since the visuals are so great :/

This game was removed from the forum, I guess due to age issue. But it has been added back to the forum. Maybe the developer fixed it. I haven't played the new version if an edit has been made, so idk.

If a solution comes to the age and the GUI is improved, this game is very promising. Render quality and characters are amazing.

I'm not the biggest fan of the models and I've see some of them few times already but the plot seems interesting I've download it and will try it next time. Next to 1 year game but since I've miss it...

Yep I've played Hard to love, tbh I've even played the 0.2 yesterday.
I didn't want to make a BIG first message and at the same time want to developed the strong point for me so I haven't quote all the game I liked from 2022.

Hard to love has an interesting main girl, and the family situation is special. I don't know how it will be developed on that aspect it could became good but trash too. I pray for the first option.


Such a sharp pain is gorgeous, but not for me. Girls are too young, and I want to protect those type of girl but not fuck them hahaha. I was uncomfortable and stop playing it after few minutes when we first see the young niece.


Some of the others I didn't try because I'm not into Milf and gigantic boobs, my list was based on my tastes obviously, it's a good thing that you share your favorite too.
Maybe I will try Fates. Lovely Academy I'm not really into invasive sanbox, but I do like murder mystery.

Zeno's Anthology I've played the first story. This girl was so beautiful, I remain speechless. I have to try story 2&3.

And I agree about Affexon, I was really hyped by the first release last year, but yeah not much more content since then. A little update I think.

Yeah same here, visuals were fantastic and then I have to quit it because of the incest + underage characters.

So, I've played it now.
I think it's a particuliar case.
Because there is a lot of clumsiness in the writing.
We start => We see one girl => She will have a crush on the MC and talk a little about her => same with girl n°2, 3, 4 etc..

There is some strange aspect, like with the blue hair girl and her sister.
She knows the MC since one day and fall in love, maybe they've seen each other before. But even with Alice (the blonde girl) she react like she was an old friend and at a moment I wasn't sure about if they were friend before or just from this date.
Later they give me my answer, but if interactions made me think that, there is a little problem.

And I found the use of others languages a little bit ridiculous it was a little bit much. (+ probably google trad some sentence aren't natural)

However...
The story has a lot of interesting points. The premise themselves are interesting (the whole undercover cop like Vinovella University).
There is a mystery with a lot of girl, the chilhood friend, the mannequin etc..
The story make me want to see how&when he will meet them. I was pretty frustrated when it ends.

Girls are cute too, and they have some connections between them.

This game has some flaws but is interesting at the same time. Thanks for the discovery.

Mareeta I agree with your points about the girls liking the MC too quickly and also about the machine translation. One of those extra languages is my native and I know some of the others enough to note some mistakes.

What struck me the most is the overall exposition of the story and characters. In this aspect the game looks like a novel, or a movie, or a TV series. I played, idk, maybe 50-60-ish VNs and THIS kind of beginning is so far the most promising and thought through.

Well, it's an adult VN after all. Things should be put in motion without dragging the exposition for hours. This kind of clumsiness, as you put it, could be the result of cuts/edits/compromises made - or just the consequence of the authors needing to properly introduce a number of characters and background events in a limited amount of reading time.

New Games Part 2​

We Were Just Kids

+ Female MC who isn't here just to fuck everytime, with a real story.
+ Multiple protagonist that make sense in the situation
+ Pretty interesting story, with music theme in background

+/- A lot of characters, it's okay in one playthrough but could be hard to follow after some updates
+/- Maybe a little too much "punk" in the chara-design

- Average animation, will probably improve ?



A Shot in the Dark

Pretty early to talk about, the first update is pretty short but I'll try.

+ Meaningful choices
+ It seems to have very different path, you probably won't have everything in one playthrough
+ Girls are cute, look at that :

Shale Hill Secrets

It has more than one year know but it didn't when I select the VN so I still put this one here.

+ Models looks unique. Valerie and Emily are soo fucking hot. But some people will hate Emily for her comportement.
+ Interesting story, pretty unique too.
+ Sex scenes well designed
+ I like dialogues between characters here. They all have a distinct personnality.



+/- It's not using Ren'py, it's working well but does have some spec
+/- Not really a sandbox, it's almost full VN but does have some choices to go here or there, I find it tedious.

- There is a large delay for the non-sub release (It's not really a cons for everybody though)




Excluded

Ok this one is a special one too. It's pretty cryptic right now and the first update isn't that long but it has something.
It could be special.

+ The atmosphere, there is something there.
+ Renders are FA-BU-LOUS + Girls are hot.
+ We only start the story and we don't have the tools to understand it well but I think it will be well-written.

+/- Not really interesting yet, it's just the prologue.


Chrome Lifelines

+ Cyberpunk 2077 VN
+ Atmosphere and environment are great if you like Sci Fi
+ Characters are hot AND charismatic, perfect for a Cyberpuk Story. Models looks good. Best girls everywhere.
+ Interesting story as of now, pretty cyberpunk like everything else, with some references.


Bitch Squad

This one start today !

+ I like characters interactions, there is a lot of potential in almost all of them. For an evolution that make them more adults and with the relationship between the MC (and some others characters).
+ Revenge story that succeds to make you want that revenge.
+ Some girls looks cute. It's not the best model quality-wise but girls like Sarah are still beautiful. (Wtf is those smiles ?)


+/- At the start MC is Beta, bullied.. I think he isn't really annoying and want to change the situation so I don't see that like a problem here it was a necessity for the plot and his future change.

- I'm not a specialist here but there is some quality problem in the visuals. Renders are a little bit blurry or with grain I don't know. Not a big deal but it doesn't look as "clean" as some other games.



This game on a post-apo world could be interesting but does have sandbox : Apocalypse Lovers

It's been a long time. There was a lot of good start since then but not many that I really loved that's why I wait a little bit.


Race of Life

+ One of the best writing of F95zone AVN
+ Adult MC with a life behind him
+ Some really emotionals scenes that you don't think you will got when you start an AVN (hello Leap of Faith)
+ Original and interesting choice of subject
+ Attractive character models and good renders
+ Good amount of content for a first release


Cybernetic Seduction

+ Deliverance creator. It's rassuring.
+ Good character models, lot of hot girls.
+ The dynamic between characters is pretty solid rn
+ Interesting futuristic plot, the first release was addictive
+ Some dark themes


Dreamland

+ It's so fuckin hot
+ Renders are amazing, one of the best I've ever seen.
+ Animations
+ Story could be interesting, seems that mystery will take a big place.

+/- Some unrealistic situation/writing. I don't really care about it in AVN myself, you have to see it yourself.



Acquainted

+ Yuno seems well known, not by me but it could means that he is easy to reach and that the game is in good hands ?
+ Womens are beautiful, like more of the game I propose here.

+/- Seems like a classic student story atm

- Even if they are really cute, a lot of character models are pretty similar



That's it for the hits. If everything happen smoothly they will probably be some of the biggest games for few years.

+/- To fast for its own good

- Not a big problem for me because I'm mediocre in english but the langage quality seems quite poor.



The Distance Between Us

+ Pretty chill
+ The creator is probably an anime fan
+ Cute girls, nothing as impressive has the others but still good.


+/- Original MC design, but a bit weird/young at the same time.
+/- Still short.


Lifelong Secret

+ Interesting female protagonist with a lot of insecurities.
+ Realistic and natural writing for an AVN.
+ Realistic chara-design too, the MC looks really cute.
+ Good animations.

The Grey Dream

+ Really hot bimbos
+ Renders
+ Arrogant MC but in a good way

+/- Nothing special with the story as of now
