This is just for clarity and in no way meant to steal your thunder or anything like that, but farts don't actually cause pink eye as conjunctivitis happens due to eye irritation, infections, and allergies. Farts don't carry any kind of infections, trigger off allergies or irritate the eyes, it's just something that was made up at some point for exaggerated humor.
Hopefully this doesn't come off as a "Weeeell acktuallyyy...." comment, and comes off as more of an informative one
