Not sure if you're in Ghuraok's Discord, but it's worth joining if you wanna see more of his work! Since the last time the game was updated, he's released a bunch of art that's supposed to go in it. I get the impression he intends the game to be a long-term project, maybe more like a magnum opus than anything.

Many JP games hv Chubby Guys since they tend to include all types, like most Underground Campaign's game (Yup, them again, it's really a great studio) you can find couple of their games in that thread, or 四畳半的生活 (Yojohansuke).
Can't recall more atm.

Honestly a lot of it comes down to you searching for what fits what you like on sites like this and itch even if it means you have to slog through lots of games. Even with that most of them will just be maybe a character or two that fit your definition unless you focus on games that involve gaining like spectrum of hybrids does with some of it or vore type stuff which neither are all that common. Honestly most of the games said so far are your best bet, though linking an image or two of exactly the type you are looking for might help as well.

No, it's my bad. I tend to think of musclechub as the Jiraiya kind of "gachimuchi" rather than the chubby type. I still think Lustful Desires might fit your interests, though.

Such a shame how it got abandoned, the creator is still active and do lot of arts in patreon tho

For starters it seems that the author changed the name to "Spirits of the Novren", he seems to have changed a lot of things, and the game is isometric 3D now apparetly? He's complicating stuff for himself. These updates where from 2022 so who knows whats going on now, im not a backer either. But I guess hes still working on it, just very slowly between patreon illustrations.
